California is random because their DMV is so ghetto, you never know when you're getting your license.They print it at the DMV in Tennessee also. If you fail though, you have to wait a month, but because of backlogs its usually 2 months before you can retake it. Apparently my grandfather had a condition where his blood was too think, so they had to draw some blood every month. My dad thinks he might have the same type of thing. I don't know. He's going back to the hospital today to get a few more tests done.And i have to admit i was kind of shocked my my parents told me what the hospital bill came to. My dad spent 6 hours in the "Urgent Section" had an ECG and one or two other tests done, and of course the Ambulance to the hospital and it all cost 11 Riyals which is $3 US. Kind of crazy. And the only sort of Medical Insurance we have is a health card that costs $30 a year to renew. Sometimes this country can be a pretty shitty place to live, but at times like these i guess it's not half bad.Sounds like he needs blood thinner medication, and #3 for an Ambulance?!? holy [bleep]ing shit. Finally get into a lobby full of pretty bad players. But one of the guys on my team was pretty good as well... Basically the game ended with me sitting on a 23 gunstreak and having put a few hitmarkers in the last kill i needed for the MOAB. Heartbreaking. It used to be given there. Way to go backwards instead of forward DMV... Three months banishment to 9gag is something i would never wish upon anybody, not even my worst enemy. In the past I've always just used it as a means to keep in touch with old friends and see what they've been up to lately. I'd usually only get on Facebook for like 5 minutes at a time, right when I wake up and right before I go to bed. I'd just scroll down my news feed and see what people are up to. Though these days my news feed is overflowing with people "liking," sharing, and commenting on memes and irrational political articles. There used to only be a few of my friends whose stories like that would show up on my news feed, and I'd just "unfollow" them so they wouldn't show up anymore. But now it seems that everyone's using Facebook as their own personal soapbox for sharing stuff like that. Though I suppose if I wasn't such an outcast in my worldview compared to my friends' worldviews, this wouldn't really be an issue. I recently-ish made one that I don't add anybody on, but have for school stuff (like organizing group projects, selling textbooks in my school's textbook selling group, etc). I really don't miss my old Facebook, and it's not tempting to get it back since you're still using the site itself. Randox Posted July 3, 2014 Share Posted July 3, 2014 Summer finally arrived here. Yay. Me and my parents went up onto their roof to watch people set off their Canada Day fireworks on Tuesday. Our neighbors must have bought like a wheelbarrow full of them. They were having a party, and I think their show lasted a solid 20 minutes. As a side note, trying to take pictures of fireworks at night with a cellphone is a totally pointless endevour :lol: I did manage to get some pictures of 'bold bunny' though. Was watching him in the driveway and crouched down about 20ft away. He bounded up to about 10 ft away from me before getting bored and going onto the lawn. I have no idea how a bunny gets that brave without being eaten by any of the feral cats in the area. Then again, the Pheasants are still going pretty strong. Actually saw one of them flying while I was at my parents. I've only ever seen them flying upwards into trees before. They really are quite fast flyers even if they don't go far. Right now, for the past week I have been to Norway, working. Going to the Song Festival tomorrow, being in my homeland for the weekend and coming back on Monday. Finally got internet here today aswell.Still [bleep]ing boring, all summer here, just working. But it will be a nice relief and change from my normal lifestyle. And for the first time, I am going to have my friends going over. So I've noticed this thread's regulars all follow similar trends. My best friend and I thought it would be fun to try making edibles from some previously vaped weed before we went. We put the stuff on a toasted nutella sandwich and went on our way. I didn't feel much until we left the fireworks about 3 hours later, but she was flying the whole time and was starting to not be able to hold a sensible conversation when she left with her straight-edge boyfriend. Apparently she got worse after she left too; I'll have t check in with her later. Still, I had a great time with my other friends after the show when it kicked in; there's just nothing like jamming good rap in the car with your friends when you're stoned. We tried watching Sharknado after but we all started falling asleep and gave up. Still, great experience would recommend / 10 I feel a weird tightness in my chest/stomach this morning though and I'm really confused as to where it's from. It isn't painful, just uncomfortable. Blake Posted July 4, 2014 Share Posted July 4, 2014 Over the past few days, I've moved from Minneapolis to Seattle and have been looking for apartments. The move was pretty traumatizing for my cat, with car/plane/bus/tram rides, but she's doing much better. I've found an apartment downtown that is 1315 (which is cheap for seattle) per month, with 200 per month parking. It's pretty insane, coming from my 350 per month apartment before. Probably going to sign the lease on Monday. There's a rooftop garden/grill/dining area, where you can see Mt Rainier, the Olympics, Space Needle, Downtown, and Pugent Sound which is really awesome.
