I suppose you could say that. I think that we've both sufficiently grown up enough to give it another serious shot.

 

There's a reason an ex is an ex. It rarely ever works out the second time, and i think the only times it actually ends up working out is when both parties involve are able to sufficiently delude themselves into thinking "things are different/better" this time when in fact things are probably the same it was before. You've just learned to "accept" it or "not care about it" or "deal with it". None of those are exactly healthy for anyone involved in the long term.

We dated in high school about 6 years ago, and we broke up when I went off to college. We have spent the last 4 or so months trying to iron out what problems we had before and what problems we will face in the future.

 

I agree with you though, that things don't usually end up the way you want them to, but you never know how things will end up unless you try.

Got a new computer, sadly the Wifi on mine (the old one as of now) was breaking/dying, but this one works great! Should be set for a couple years now.
