Veiva
Yeah I was going to do that later but here's what it would look like roughly: The ground is going to have textures and a grid pattern, too.
Arceus
Need a little favor guys and I think you are probably the right crowd: What's the best (or best combination) of free resources to teach myself Python? And reasonably, how long would it take to be functionally literate, so to speak, in it? I have no experience with it, a little with Matlab if that helps but no formal training. I.e. is a couple hours a day over a few months enough?Or is there something else I'm better off learning? "Fight for what you believe in, and believe in what you're fighting for." Arceus
Alright well got it installed and working which did exceed my expectations of myself, thanks for the tips. It does seem your code is referencing other libraries or stuff that I don't have set up on there so...maybe in the future I'll see if still works. Estonian dude
Did over a 1000 miles on my bike in 2 days, kinda dead now.Last 3,5h was in the dark on unfamiliar sketchy mountain road in pitch black, with heavy fog and roadworks on sequences and heavy rain all throughout. The road actually got a snow warning, but when I went through the temperature was barely, but still in the positive side. Got wet through 5 layers of clothes, of which was one layer "waterproof" and one layer "water resistant". Even blew in some water from between the seal and visor of my helmet. Oh well, that's American gear for ya. So I've noticed this thread's regulars all follow similar trends. Noxx
I've been putting off deciding on a school now for over a month. I realised that today when for the 10th time i sent emails to various schools asking for prices etc. and i ended up emailing schools i already communicated with before. I think i actually already found a really good school. Good reviews online, decent pricing. Guess i'm kind of just nervous. Part of me can't wait to get things going, part of me is scares shitless of going to a new place again and "starting over".
Estonian dude
Mom got told she has at best a couple of years, but probably way less to live... Some sort of mutation in cancer, due to which the doctors can't use the best medications... And I am half the globe away considering whether to apply for an extended work visa here...What do? obfuscator
Coming from a giant country like the US my perspective might be off, but why leave in the first place. Why stay out of country long termI think you answered your question in your first sentence lol. Boris5000
I would recommend youtube and stack overflow. Just make sure you google your question thoroughly because SO users are big stinkers :), including me. 1 Luck be a Lady
obfuscator
I've asked eightyish but there were probably another several thousand that I would have asked but then found the answer on stackoverflow first :P edit: looking at them now they were either noob questions I couldn't recognize the answer to, or highly specific and obscure "It's not a rest for me, it's a rest for the weights." - Dom Mazzetti
Bonez899
And I heard some cracking in my mid/upper back on the way down and stopped then and there. Looks more like an IDE limitation than anything. If you want to see those values at runtime you could check the locals window or add a watch (but even "Add watch" from the context menu seems to get confused by the with statement so you have to do it manually) Yuck "It's not a rest for me, it's a rest for the weights." - Dom Mazzetti
Tesset
Yeah, and the particularly bad case I want that ability for is this bit of code that multiplies 150 factors together to get a premium, so if I need to debug that premium I have to add 150 watches, which slows down visual studio just a smidge My skin is finally getting softI'll scrub until the damn thing comes off

Estonian dude
Sense of adventure. The EU is like the US to me, except smaller in area. I've been around there heaps, no border crossings or checks or anything, but it just gets old. For perspective, I visit like 5-6 different EU countries pretty much every year. I love travelling and NZ is so different, yet in some ways still similar. Also, I earn boatloads here. Or at least, when compared to back home.
