Okay, so the sickest thing happened yesterday.

A little background. I'm working on an electrorock song, but to make a song you need a singer, and I don't have that kind of voice. I went to a battle of the bands my friend was competing in yesterday, and I'd checked out some of the bands, one of them being The Mob. I really liked their singer's voice, so I figured I'd ask him to work with me.

 

So at the battle, the Mob is playing and doing really good, I was right in front of the singer/guitarist, and I notice a yellow pick (for you musically impaired children, a pick's a piece of plastic/metal you use to strum while playing guitar) on the stage. I thought "Yes, I'm taking that, I've none left at home". So I wait for the song to finish to jump and take the pick, and guess what? The singer's pick slips from his fingers, the strings act as an elastic and it goes flying into the crowd. I jump, grab the yellow pick, hand it to him, he blows me a kiss.

 

Later on, my friend tells me the singer wants to thank his hero and that he's outside chatting to a few people. I go, he thanks me, and says that the situation was ironic because he was using the wrong pick (for you musically-impaired children, picks come in various thicknesses and shapes) to start with, and that I gave him the right one. I tell him I meant to talk to him about an electrorock collab, and he said he'd be happy to work on that :D

 

I also danced with a guy from another band, we were talking and he told me to open my mouth. I did, he fed me a bottle of Italian spirit-thing, it was kind of random. And a girl pinky-swore to show me her boobs. I don't really want to see them, I just asked her for the laughs. And I was asked to make album art for my friend's band.

That's amazing.

Lame weekend again... nothing to do, since all of my friends have gone from Xbox to PC playing AoE3 <_<. Starting to lift weights today with my brother. That will be fun I suppose, although I don't like working out with other people. Oh well I guess.

 

Scratch that. Weight-lifting begins tomorrow :mellow: Nephew wanted to go home.

Rollin' in sweet, sweet money right now. Filled out surveys and stuff online to make $6.11 worth of credit for an online game, made agreements with my parents to get myself a $10 per week allowance, and at the grocery store they have tubs of Dreyer's ice cream with a buy 1 get 2 free deal, which saves you like 12 bucks.

I get to do a job I have never done before today, just for today. Should(n't) be fun. I'm not looking forward to this at all.

 

As for my weekend, I watched the same 2 movies as last week, visited with my cousin and got stuck at my aunt's place for much too long. Other than that last bit... a good weekend overall.

Anyway, my day was decent, 2 more days and exams are over, but the hard part is over so I don't really care anymore lol.

School today. 5 day weekend this week :thumbsup: Fri-Tues. WIN. Hung out with the girl I asked to prom in between classes :smile:. Fun day. Started my weight lifting schedule with my brother today. That's been fun too. Nothing too hard or anything, but it'll get better. (still can't do a pull-up) :unsure:

I completely cleaned my garage last night, sweeped it, re organized everything, and cleared off the work bench. This morning I started to try to finish building a pipe out of a shot glass I have that's shaped like an easter island head, and I finally finished it. I could still add a choke to it, or extend the mouthpiece, but for the time being it's good.

I ran 2 hours of passing and bumping lines in volleyball, then went back to getting internet access when using Ubuntu and working on a new paradigm for employing Drake's equation to measure it's relative correctness.

I get to work again today. I'm supposed to be doing the job I like, but with the people I don't really like. They swarm to the easy work and leave the hard work for the others. I, who have been there for about 2.25 years, am forced to do the "hard" work while somebody who has been there for a month does the easy work? No longer. Should I want the easy job, I shall take it!

Uh. Another 25 minutes for my video to render in Premiere. It's only a small music video for media.
