I should, although I'd feel highly uncomfortable doing the whole process. He says he's tried all different kinds of doctor's treatments and supposedly they all don't work for him so he just chooses to ignore it.

I managed to pick up extra shifts at work over the next three days, taking it to 19 days worked out of the last 21. Oh, and this is just before i got a payrise too :thumbup:

I don't think we had the option to switch but maybe we had the option to change rooms... Hmm. I think now might be too late to change though. At least it's quiet when the roommate's sleeping.

I almost [cabbage] my pants today, when I realised that my study skills essay due on Friday was missing. I must have deleted it or something... I searched in the recycle bin and it wasn't there either, or on my pen drive! Then came frantic googling of 'how to recover a deleted file' and after downloading a program I have it back <3 I couldn't find it on my hard drive but it was on my pen drive and it's all there. :thumbsup: That was a close call.

Home sick today. Bad cold. And I probably have to spend my whole day home doing homework. :wall:

 

Thank god there's only three more days 'til break!

Today I finally start my Christmas shopping. I would have started a few weeks ago, but my uncle (married my mother's sister) had heart surgery and appointments that my mom had to be there for (which I still don't really understand, but whatever). Then we were trapped in our house for 3 days because the snow was relentless. They even cancelled city buses which has happened now twice in all the time my sister has lived here (since 2002, I think). And then my other uncle had appointments and a surgery of his own (had a finger removed).

 

That has been my life the past month or so. I have left my own property twice since it started, and that was to go out for a birthday supper and then this past Saturday to get something to eat again, because my cousin brought some movies to watch.

A few days ago I realized I had a fading bruise on my wrist that I don't recall getting. Figured out how they appeared when I got myself a new bruise--seems like venting my anger by smacking a wall is a bad idea. Whodathunkit.

Is it just me, or do coffee dates usually turn out the best? Especially at places like Starbucks. I think it may be the environment.

They don't have a Starbucks in my town - I wish they did, I need to travel 4/5 miles to get a frappacino.

I think the nearest Starbucks to me is like 20 miles away. Not that I've ever even had Starbucks, I prefer my coffee without the heaping scoop of pretentiousness.

Ha, I have a Starbucks within two miles of my location in any direction. Bunch of overpriced water anyways, I don't know why you would spend such money.

I'd make some joke about how long I'd have to drive to get to one, but there's two bigger places within two hours I haven't been to in a while, so I can't say if they'd have 'em or not. I do know Sydney has some, so I'll go with that.
