good:small town, the school you probably went to had more people in it then my town

bad:lack of people=lack of selection

theres only like 8 choices

4 computer classes: computer graphics web design multi media and yearbook

So today...

 

- I was out of power for 24 hours due to the snow

- Found out today that a fellow robotics teammate passed away Tuesday evening. :\ fell from a tree and snapped his neck

- Got a lot of reading done since the power was out for so long

 

Actually not a lot, but it feels like a long day without electricity :P

We had computer classes like that in high school. I chose to take Java instead of graphics and such though.

 

The fohawk's gone now. Couldn't stand having half a bottle of gel in my hair. Good news, I possibly got a new lulzy Facebook profile picture out of it.

We had one crappy computer class in Year 8.

 

And a choice for another in year 9/10, but no-one did it, would have sucked anyway.

 

Then we could do IT and stuff at TAFE, I tried it, and couldn't stand the teacher, so I left.

I've booked in to see the GP first thing Tuesday morning and I've brought my hair dye. I honestly think since I went off the anti-depressants thats whats caused me to spiral out of control. think about it, go on them late Aug, get job Sept im happy. go off them Nov, get fired to be replaced by junior in late Nov and sicne then I've gotten worse. I guess there's only one way to find out...

Well, My moods were fine etc after I went off them but 2-3 weeks after I got the sack (to be replaced by a junior for lower pay) and I guess it just triggered me, amongst other things.

Haha, I'll post it in the RL pictures topic once my friend uploads it from her camera. It wasn't a full fohawk because my hair isn't long enough, but still waaayyy different from anything I've ever worn before.

 

And yeah, I loved getting 3 semesters of programming in before college. It was really convenient.

Got stuck in the snow at the end of my girlfriends driveway, tried to dig it out, failed. My dad drove all the way over and helped. It was actually an amazing night. Plus getting stuck gave me an extra hour with her.

NO STICKY PAWS!!!

I did a psychology project yesterday and decided to save it in several different formats to make sure at least one works (I've had bad experiences before). Today in school I went to the computer lab to print it. I put my USB stick in the port... and just couldn't believe it.

 

A while ago I formatted my USB stick, as it had a lot of useless stuff on it. Well, the computer decided to show the files that were on the stick before that (wtf?). Couldn't find my psychology project anywhere. (and yes, it was indeed on the stick, tried it later on my netbook, but I don't know how to print from that) :wall:

Went to school in my ushanka, a sweatshirt, and my Hawaiian flower bathing trunks this morning. A balmy -8 degrees greeted me. Of course all my friends and teachers thought I was crazy. I have to say, it seriously wakes you up.

OT: Didn't even realize we hit 1,000 pages. That's awesome. Today, I've got work at 6:00 PM... More screening to do for the bank, may be working a to-go shift tonight! :D So that'll leave me with some extra cash in my pocket. I'm also excited for February 1st. Yes, it's RS related. I've got a pretty optimistic outlook on life right now. I like it. :)
