I really didn't want to but I felt I had to.He's been coming over almost 2-3 times a week I tolerate it most of the time but today really pissed me off, cause he lied.

 

 

 

1) He called me up on the phone asking if he can come use my computer to look for a job. Why couldn't he use his moms computer? I don't know but I wasn't going to ask because its not my business. So he comes over gets on my computer and opens his email full of available jobs and deletes them without reading them.

 

 

 

He then opens up a gaming website to read a forum and to watch videos. I didn't bother saying anything but whatever. He then opens up a porn site and started watching videos while I'm around and I'm not comfortable with that so yeah that's not happening I kicked him off my computer.

 

 

 

2) He then complains its hot in my house when it is infact very cool and there's a breeze coming in from every window so while I was in the bathroom at one point he turns on my central air and when I asked if he did it he blatantly lies about not doing it and I know for a fact it was turned off.

 

 

 

He kept turning it on after I told him not to and eventually it got to the point of me kicking him out of my house because he cannot seem to respect any of my belongings.

Ouch. Did you ask him why he couldn't use his mom's computer? :S Also, how old are you? If you're a teenager, you could just go over to a McDonald's or something...

 

 

 

As for saying it was hot in your house, I'd be angry too. Wouldn't want to be freezing my butt off... that actually happened at my friend's house, it was always cold there... anyway...

 

 

 

Try talking to him about it, and tell him to respect your belongings. Your house, your things, your rules. Tell him he was being disrespectful and whatever else bothers you.

I would've kicked him out right after he tried to open up the porn. Even if its the truth, most parents won't believe it when they check the internet search history, confront you about the recent searches, and you say "my friend came over and he did it". You did the right thing. I know people who live in misery because they don't have the guts to tell a mooching friend when they've crossed the line.

I'd have said no as soon as he deleted the emails, the porn would have been the final straw. Seriously, he's making no attempt to get a job. He just seems to be someone who wants to live a nomadic lifestyle by using others to get what he wants though 'favours', which he returns by simply being your 'friend'. It's all part of the adventure for him.

 

 

 

I cannot tolerate people like that. They're so precarious and unstable. You can't ever depend on them because you never know where they are with you. :wall:

Sounds like the little mooch deserved it to me. Any good friend would ask before doing any of those things, except maybe the porn, which I shouldn't think he should have done at all. Maybe next time, and I say maybe because I don't know if he will ever be allowed back in, will think twice before being so bothersome.

So he pretty much asked to come over just because he wanted to get stoned and then look at hentai because he didn't have internet access (for good reasons). Also I found burnt matches in my closet from where he lit them and used a can of AXE spray I had in my room to make a 'flamethrower.' If he ever comes over again, I'll just lie about the internet or something and just hide anything he can use to get stoned.

He was obviously being a freeloader and not a true friend at all. A true friend would treat you with respect. You did the right thing.

Definitely a wise choice in kicking him out. Personally, my house is about 30 miles out of the way of any of my friends, so it takes some effort to even come over. When they do come over, I usually have work around the farm to do, so I just put them to work as well. That may be the reason that people invite me over rather than vice versa. :

 

 

 

If you do decide to let him back in, make it on certain conditions.. such as him having a job for a month or two.. or something along those lines. I seriously don't know why a guy, or girl would come over to look at porn.. it screams some sort of condition, but I'm not sure what exactly.

i kicked some of my friends out when i was still in middle school. i has 2 boys come over, they weren't respecting my properties, they wore their shoes around the house, and laughed at all the games i played. they aren't my friends anymore after that but i eventually felt better because real friends don't those kinds of things where i LIVE.
