No way, someone did find out the secret into the frozen door and its vast riches besides me.

But seriously, If you really wanna test this look for non cb ways to get charms. Doesn't Temple treking or w/e give charms and money? Does head gear give some glitched amount of xp and has yet to be nerfed? Gotta be a bit more exploitative, if after all he found it on accident.

Temple Trekking is good for Talon beast charms. Take the hardest people thought the easiest route and skip all the other events. Each charm is worth over 1k exp and I got about 150k exp banked just from when I was doing it the other week for the lumberjack gear.

Definitely awesome XP. I consider myself a Temple Trekking expert as I have full lumberjack, and as I've spent many hours there, I can say it's well worth it to spend a day or two there to get charms for Summoning as you can actually get them quite fast.

Why does this thread remind me of the one awhile back where someone said he had an awesome crafting method that was equivalent to 1exp - 1 gp, but never revealed it as he wanted his wife to get 99 crafting first but in the end never actually mentioned it?

I've tried pretty much every thing there is to test lol.

After discussing with top Summoners, it seems they were all using Lobsters (when they dropped 2 per kill, 90% of the time).

After doing some more research into those who have recently got 99, it seems they where doing Waterfiends.

I did 4-88 (4 cos of Quest) at Rock Lobsters, it cost me 300m+ but it's the fastest way possible still for charms.

Waterfiends are acceptable, Void-Melee doesn't help at all there, the amount of bonuses you can wear (even at my Defence) and get away with it makes it better in my honest opinion, you will hit +1 more with Void but who really cares about that?

Talon beast charms arent that fast to get because of the "puzzle" events (bog, bridge, river) if you run from them you are left in the swamp and have to run to Salve. You also have to get the crimsons to make the pouches. I believe talons are slightly slower than waterfiends: not good.

I figured it out. I'm not going to tell anyone though so don't bother pming me. I am just showing off really.

Or, you're talking bulls--t...

Agreed.

We can keep on looking, but there is every chance that it might not exist.

Reminds me of a certain.... Nevermind.

But yes, I don't really believe any of all this revolutionary training theories. Waterfiends and Rock lobsters are the best.

I have a method that gets me 200k magic xp per hour and makes me around 500k in geepees. So yes I do believe in revolutionary methods. I also know a way to get 50k craft xp per hour and make about 300k per hour. It's all about thinking outside the square.

Yet you've gained 119k magic xp in last 4 weeks while being under 99 magic. Makes me suspicious that you've managed to sacrifice a bit over half an hour to that method. If we look at the other xp you've gained within 4 weeks, your claims make less sense than a polar bear hunting lions in Kenya.

Yes, there have been and will be these so called revolutionary training methods. The first lvl 99 rangers and few top meleers in rsc didn't get their xp the same way most thought it would be best to be done. Do you know revolutionary methods? Most likely not.

Rukano told me in-game his method for Summoning training.

It's very slow Xp per hour and requires a hell of a lot of money to get started, however you can make a profit from it but it involves actually GE-standing which makes it very long winded and in my opinion quite pointless.

I personally would rather pay millions and get my Xp/Levels faster.

So in the other words it's far away from being "revolutionary" and closer to "pointless".

How can you see how much exp someone got in the last month? do you save the value of every player?

It's a bot called runescript, !track @

Or Runemonkey.

Or many other SwiftIRC etc bots. Dunno if irc.tip.it has RuneScript connected.

I'm still not sure why waterfiends is considered so great. As Inu\me already proved, anyone high enough level to do them shouldn't even be considering them.

Eh, the method that was described wasn't really useful, based on what a friend of mine who tried it said. (I'm not much of a fan of the method you train summoning, so my summoning level is 21.)

He said it had a lot to do with luck and finding a person willing to do constant trades, and it was inaccessable to anyone without a AGS.

Even if it WAS practical at my level, I wouldn't do it- it seems like too much work for too little return.
