Firemaking is the cheapest and fastest 99. I've heard its below 5M with maples, not sure ov exact price.

But i can assure you, it's very tedious. Why not work slowly towards 99 with a skill you ENJOY?

Cooking is comparable to Firemaking in speed, depending on the materials you use. The fastest method of cooking will cost you 5-7m.

Come to #tip-it on Swift IRC, if you're cool

Thieving wouldn't cost you anything if you were to use pyramid plunder and it will be 150k+ xp/hour. That would probably be your best choice if you don't have any money.

If you do have some, get either 99 fletching, cooking or firemaking. Those are cheap and fast.

May I ask why you want a skillcape? Don't do it to earn respect.

Summoning is mad xp if you have the charms.

The actual leveling is like 300K xp/hr.

And you can't level without charms .

Hunter would also be quite a good option if you like it, chins make you money and it's quite fast. (80-100k xp/hour I believe)

Fastest is wines, which costs alot more than that. And it's economical if you GWD, or have 91 RC.

Mentioning the step that gives xp and not giving thought to all other steps is ignorant. And it's more around 600-800k xp/hour with crimsons.

I would say the fastest xp would be construction, thieving, and cooking.

More like 800k, and that's with granite lobster pouches/kyatt.

Prayer, will cost about 100m and you can get 250k exp an hour on a guilded alter.

Training slay till a cb 99

wc can be boring, but semi-afk

cook/fm is fast if you don't turn crazy outa boredom

hunt is one of the fastest

Fletching is pretty fast. But don't get a cape for a skill you don't like. Just take it slowly and do it for a skill you enjoy. Just getting a cape to look cool isn't cool imo. Though I do want my attack cape badly, I can wait

Pureprayer, you're awesome.

3mhc3, the fastest ones that I would think of to be an easy 99 would be... mining, fishing, cooking, woodcutting, and/or hitpoints ... Take your pick. :D

You forget construction is fastest if you got loads of cash

Don't ask what's the fastest, if you don't post your money etc.

Construction can be very fast, IF you have the money.

Fletching also is very fast, IF you have the money or the logs required

Cooking is fast if you buy raw food, and cook it.

I was thinking of a skillcape too, but then again, I realized I had to put lots of time in it, wich, I rather spend to have fun. Why not searching for the skill you like the most, and level it?

Firemaking is much harder then people belive... all the clicking makes you mad and its "only" around 130k xp an hour compared to other skills around 150/200k an hour.

and dong get cooking since its ultimate lamer 99 as first on at least... :shame:

Played since February 2001

In 'my' opinion, if you want a profitable 99, then Hunter.

Altho red chin hunting is harder now, as everyone does it, from the required level to 99, i BELIEVE is enough to get you to 99 range or you could sell em for around 30M+

But as everyone does it now, I'm not sure thats the case anymore :-k

ya, everyone, is getting a 99 skill just to show off now, but who can help it? hmmm fm is about 4.3 mil(with maples, really really boring).but dont go for a skill that everyone has(cooking and fletching). try thiveing or hunter.

shooterbob7.png

yea fming is actually quite slow when compared to cooking using wines...for most people though cooking is a very common first 99...i'm currently trying to get 99 cooking as well cause i already have 4 combat 99s but no non-combat skills maxed out =S

maxed out melee on 10/10/08, current goal: 94/99 cooking

life may be unfair, but why can't it be unfair in my favor?

my fake plant died because i forgot to pretend to water it

Fastest: herblore, construction, cooking, crafting, ranged, magic. But if you want it extremely fast it's going to cost several tens of millions.
