November 27, 201015 yr Citizen Kane, besides being called the greatest film of all time, is a bit overrated to me. I've seen the film a number of times and either showing I've particularly enjoyed. I think for an average viewer you aren't going to notice what makes Citizen Kane such a great film in the history of cinema. If you want to watch a classic film that you more then likely going to enjoy I'd watch Casablanca. It's one of my personal favorites. Most those films on your list are just more so films you'd want to watch for quoting or to know more so for pop culture references.
