Its not bad, i put in like 15-20hrs a wk during school and about 35+ in the summer, (Then i end up with about $600 a month) The only reason i stay is beacuse I love the people i work with. Starting $11 but raises every 3 months until I hit $12.50, and 24 hour shifts so if you are a student and need to pick up the odd shift its good...although sometimes it's hell, last place I worked my schedule was: Monday, 3PM - 11 PM Tuesday, 3PM - 11PM Wednesday 11PM - 7AM Thurs 11 PM - 7AM Friday - "Day off" (although I worked until 7 in the morning, which means getting up at 3PM and having to go to bed at 11PM to get up for work next day) Saturday - 7AM - 7PM Sunday 7AM - 7PM Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Soon I'll be working security/parking at the University of Iowa home games (24 hour shifts = good money) and I need to get another job on top of that.. Don't you get into the games free too? Or is that when you just park. Anyways, I am a freshman in highschool during the year. I also mow sometimes during the summer, just for my local cemetery and church (the church is a national historic site I think, don't get payed anything extra though). All I do is when there is a computer issue, I go up to GM after school and fix it and get payed 40-80 bucks per computer. I made 500 dollars in only 2 days of work there over the summer. They are paying for 3/4th's of my college tuition next years as long I as stay an emplyee of GM for 5 years after I get a degree. Whats better then sitting around 8 hours a day on a computer playing games until some idiot looks porn ,gets a virus, then me spending 25 minutes repairing? Basically we do all the parking lot work and [cabbage] for the Iowa Hawkeye games. My first 24 hour shift is tonight. Got energy drinks, caffeine pills, and my zune all ready to go. Gotta be down to Iowa City in about an hour and a half. Also trying to land a job at a nearby hospital (cafeteria work) with my friend. Gotta save up $1700 for this damn Cancun trip..
