Reztral
I use guides if I get stuck, or if I'm helping out my friends on a quest that I did awhile ago and don't remember what to do. --8727th person to achieve 99 Fishing on 8/19/2008----6012th person to achieve 99 Thieving on 10/12/2008--R.I.P. Wachtwoord
MEP 2 would've been hell without a quest guide.... How is it even possible to do it without one!!? At least a few people had to do it without, guides don't come out of nowhere. OT: I only use guides for the items needed and I try to do it without them besides that. It's annoying going back and forward to the bank all the time... But I actually really enjoy quests in that way. Not as any kind of challenge, but just as something fun, relaxing and different to do then the average scaping. When everything's been said and done, more has been said than done. All skills 80+
acenator
I used guides at first (to get my quest cape a little over a year ago), but now I try to freestyle them the first day they're out and I avoid guides. It makes it a bit more interesting and challenging (and yes, I do like a good challenge :XD:). > SELECT * FROM users WHERE clue > 0;0 rows returnedThere's no place like 127.0.0.1There are only 10 types of peoplein this world: those who understandbinary and those who don't.This statement is false.$DO || ! $DO ; trytry: command not found

JRD111
Some quests are too annoying to not guide... rather get it over and done with than struggle for hours and be like woot I did it all by myself... Serpent Eye
I take myself to the G.E., pull up a guide, see what items I need for the quest, buy any that I don't have in my bank, and then close the guide. I find questing enjoyable - it's a nice break from the repetativeness of skilling. I just don't like to teleport around like crazy having to buy all the items in the middle of the quest! bakura18
Guide, knowing the items I need is the best bit. I only freestyle if a new quest has come out and isn't nooby. So I haven't done that in a while.

Johannas
The only quests i haven't used a guide for are all the f2p quests, and Desert Treasure. meb
I use guides for all the quests except for the ones that just got released (if I do those). A lot of quests are fun and not tedious at all, but there are even more that are really annoying because you have to walk, walk, walk, get X obscure items you've never heard of, walk some more, find out you forgot your pickaxe, walk back, etc. And most of the time it's just to get a req for a quest with good rewards or xp in a skill you don't like leveling. Retired 2146 overall - 136 combat - 6 skillcapes Plus I think the whole teenage girl thing will end soon (hopefully), because my girlfriend is absolutely in love with him(she is 18), and im beginning to feel threatened by his [Justin Bieber] dashing looks. Beethovens29
i freestyled quests, but whenever i was stuck on something, i used a guide. (past tense words cuz im f2p and completed all f2p quests including swept away)
electrone0
Tip.it My QP cape thanks to them. Period. Winged Fish on a RWT complaint- There's four complaints on the whole site, one from a mother who was convinced by her son that the RWTers she was buying him items from were from Jagex (and then got scammed and is taking it out on Jagex), two people complaining about having their accounts taken away, and one ranting on the trade restrictions and wilderness removal. Now just change the background color and page layout, and you have the RSoF

I used to do all the quests when they first came out and write guides for them for another site. However now I don't really have time to even do quests, although this weekend I'm spending it rushing through the quests I haven't done, did 6 or 7 yesterday, have to do about that much again today, using a guide for them. Mainly to tell me what items I need before hand.
