There's no such thing as regret. A regret means you are unhappy with the person you are now,

and if you're unhappy with the person you are, you change yourself. That

regret will no longer be a regret, because it will help to form the new,

better you. So really, a regret isn't a regret.

It's experience.

To persuade my partner to be more lenient with our money and to pay off the cross trainer I want so I can get fit again and feel good about myself. That and to be a good mum.

My biggest new years resolution is to buy the things that I need for my shop before I open it. Then the new years resolution to that would be for my shop to be successful :?

The only people who tell you that you can't do something are those who have already given up on their own dreams so feel the need to discourage yours.

Ginger Warrior will take a lesser part of my life, so I'll be restricting the amount of time I spend on here. Don't all cheer at once, now.

Liam will work on being less anti-social and less socially anxious. I might keep a diary too. I'm just nervous about my brother finding it (like the bastard did last time).

Replace some of the middle pages of a cheap hardback book with blank pages. Or wire parts of the diary, so that if he reads it he'll be shocked. Or keep it on the computer hidden away. Personally, I'd go with the shocking one.

I have a few:

1. Don't go to sleep too late

2. Rid myself of other bad health habits

3. Be more confident around ladies

Be less paranoid when it comes to my girlfriend. I think it's starting to get on her nerves.

So yeah, save my relationship :D

Personally, I'd go with encrypting it on my computer, even if someone did find it they'd have to guess the 60 or so character passphrase.

Make it something easy to remember but impossible to guess (Unless your brother is psychic or mentally disturbed) like "Perhaps looking-glass milk isn't good to drink.". (<-One I read in a book)

Do any guys take Home EC over where ever you are? It's one useful subject. Learn to cook and you can make your favorite meal whenever you like, as long as you have the energy. Which will obviously give you a bit of insight into what it takes to make a meal every night.

Not be shy anymore. ( Going to a New Year's Eve party with TWO of my teachers from last year there, damn.) That's another thing, I'm going to stop cussing. I don't do it in polite company, but still.

I just made a thread about this, I checked, but I guess i missed this one :wall:

I don't have one.

In my opinion and experience, it is just a trendy thing to do and or say that you have some cool new resolution for the year when everyone knows damn well that you won't stick to it for more than twto weeks.

Aiming to better yourself shouldn't happen just because it is a new year.

To complete a New Year's resolution. I figure I should start out slow.

Mine is just one, but it's pretty important:

Loose weight.

Not that I'm fat or anything know, just shedding a few Kilo's would be nice.

My relaxation method involves a bottle of lotion, beautiful women, and partial nudity. Yes I get massages.

To not laugh at the 90% of people who don't make it past January with their resolutions.

It's a tough one.

Fullmetal Alchemist, you will be missed. A great ending to a great series.
