Well Im new to the forums so please don't be harsh on me

 

 

 

Today I was thinking of the past and what I could have done better and not have done (if makes sense lol),

 

I was regretting many things i've done in my RS Life, becoming a main, quitting a pure, spent lots of money on pvp gear, wasted money on skills, begging such and such and a few examples, and I'd like to know what you regret!

 

 

 

As I said before I regret quitting a pure and gaining many Combat levels to only get owned in BH, PVP, DA, but owning at PVM with high defense is a bonus lol. Spending nearly 4m on God Books, God Staff's. And thats about it lol I never really go outside of my comfort zone so thats basicly why I have so little regrets :P.

 

 

 

Please dont flame me if this topic has been made before Im new and I just thought it would be a good topic to brainstorm on your RS Life so far.

Sellling my party hat for 3k about a week after they came out. And I was so happy at the time that sucker gave me 3k for a worthless item!

 

 

 

Too many failed attempts at pking. It wasn't worht that much gold but with inflation it probably is equivalent to mils in today's standards.

 

 

 

Poor money and time management.

 

 

 

Doing some things which led to my account getting stolen (no nothing against illegal or against TOS) took me about a year to finally get it back. WOuldn't have been *that* bad if the [wagon] who stole it had actually used it and gained some levels.. all I got was maybe 30k fishing xp.

I think alot of people will regret not buying rares at low prices.

 

 

 

Personally i have a few things i regret but there both just losing vast amounts of money.

 

 

 

One was going into bh on the first day of release with my best combat gear, and the other was being lured for a blue mask back when i was around level 70 ish.

All my deaths and some bad merches.

Brining all my best gear to a clue in wild and getting killed. Lost all my "amazing" rune and guthix kite.

 

 

 

In the future I will regret trimming my cape 3

Not protecting my account better. Somehow I got hacked back in '03, losing several party hats, easter eggs, disk of returning, and pumpkin (all originally obtained at times of drop).

Turning in my 15 points and accidentally clicking coins instead of exp today.

I regret not sticking with a lot of my goals.

 

 

 

I regret not learning how to pk, going past 70 def and missing some of the best money of my RS career (at the time) as a barrows pure 3

Giving away party hats, pumpkins, Easter eggs, masks, Santa hats, and using all my crackers. If only i had known what they would become.

 

 

 

Also not updating Internet Explorer which led to me getting hacked, losing my one remaining party hat, a friends party hat, and they messed up a smithing plan I had :(

 

 

 

Kinda wish I had spent more money on skills instead of gear at some points, but thats not so bad.

I did something similar last week. Accidently click Summoning instead of Slayer! -.-

Lets see I regret accidentally alching my Fury Amulet and getting full Void Knight. Looking back getting that was such a waste of time. I could have used all those points for tons of exp and now I don't even wear it anymore. -.-

Trusting certain asshats.

I regret giving out 5mil after I just made about 7mil. I don't know why, but I kept giving random people money, and I had a small party at my house, giving out more... Sure, I made some people happy, but I spent a long time earning that money, and could have used it myself.

 

 

 

Oh well, at least the money went somewhere. I just moved on, and made some more money...

 

 

 

Too bad I forget how I made all my money, so I'm technically in limbo... Anyone have a good 300kph+ method I could do...?

Everytime there is a thread like this, you will see a smart mouth bring up "signing in...", "clicking the create new user"...etc..

 

 

 

If you regret that much playing RS, just quit and put your money where your mouth is.

 

 

 

OT: I regret having waited 6 months to really start slaying, I got 85 slayer when whips were 3,4 mil. If I hadn't been lazy, I would have gotten 85 when they were 6-7 mil.

The 2 biggest things I regret are:

 

 

 

1.) Trading my Silver ore certs back in RSC for cash instead of Santa hats #-o I could have a good many hats right about now :x.

 

 

 

2.) Quiting RS a couple different times after starting in 2002 to come back again in 2008 then.. to find out later that year that the first F2P player to max (Syzygy, maxing in 2008) had started RS the same year I did just a few months earlier #-o.

Not writing down the passwords and names of all the accounts I had in RSC >.>

 

I don't really regret selling my rares -- it was worth it at the time. But I could have like 360m now.

 

 

 

Using 8 VLS to pk with -- if I had been patient, I think that could have been about 80m in GE after a while, but it would take a long time.
