You could get muted for saying something unblocked that can be deemed offensive before this update, and after this update people assume you can't get muted for the unblocked words because they're unblocked? Well it seems kind of obvious that if Jagex specifically went and took words off the censor list that there are some contexts where using the words would be okay. I think so too, most of the words really aren't offensive by themselves, but can be used to insult people. If people wanted to insult others they'd do it around the censors and break the rules anyway, at least this way those who are just talking to each other won't have stars through half their sentences because the censor's getting things it doesn't really need to. I will regularly have to listen to meaningless profanity now, and there is absolutely no reason for it. We have survived for years with the current runescape censor, and I have learnt to use non-vulgar words, Darn replaced my all too favourite damn, and now I know I will go on playing runescape without using any of these newly unblocked words. To hell with freedom of speech (Some guys excuse on the RSOF) The amendment does not apply to Jagex, so dont take it that they HAD to do this update. I think it is unnecessary, and we will all have to suffer the consequences of this... Who needs to say "Crap, I just got owned" for example, when you could say "FFS! That guy 3 hitted me" or some other way of saying it, which you would have done before the update, and not be bombarded with useless spam. When would there be a situation where it is not possible to use a similar unoffensive term to what you are trying to say? Crap is still counted as a swear word in many different countries, I dont know about yours.
