Frzphnx Posted January 17, 2009 Share Posted January 17, 2009 I try to get at least two of *anything* that goes into my bank, because even though people can't see you have a 2nd xyz item, it'll always be in the same spot in the bank. Just came back this week or so after a hiatus that started shorly after the GE's introduction, so I've been hitting FoG, GoP, and all those neat additions for the goodies they offer (GoP seems a bit buggy, but ah well). It's so much more helpful for being organized, and I like my bank to be organized(bank interface update was a godsend). Pirate Rosetta stone. I tried it a while back and it just told me I already had one and didn't need another. I'm not sure, but the suicide method (die with one while next to the guy, run back, get another and then pick up your items from the grave) might still work. That doesn't work either. Dropping the book and getting another one while the first one is on the ground is no problem, but you CANNOT pick up the book on the ground while you're holding one. Even with cheap items, I don't withdraw them enough times to bother keeping placeholders. Eyes330 Posted January 18, 2009 Share Posted January 18, 2009 I love doing this, but then its mainly with extremely cheap items, that I cannot be bothered to go buy from a general when I need them, like chisels or knives (I must have at least 20 knives and 15 hammers :lol: ) Things like pickaxes and axes, and armour I decide its not worth the time to save up money to buy although with the free pick I got from Between a Rock, i make an exception. I'll generally buy one month of membership and then lay out about five or more, lol. But, I use all 496 of my bankspaces.
