My favourite has to be BGS, for a few reasons.

 

1, I'm a cheap person, it's only worth like 20m and it rarely drops more than 1m each update, unlike SGS and AGS.

 

2, I don't pk or anything, so I don't really need to hit 70s or freeze people.

 

3, I prefer using bunyip + monkfish for slayer

 

And 4, I often forget to use specials anyway :D

I currently own both an SGS and ZGS. As many people have stated, I have so much fun at minigames such as Castle Wards using the ZGS, whereas the SGS is preferred for the NPC situations (no bunyip or guthans for nearly everything)

I love AGS. I mainly use it for PvP or GWD. It's fun how 2-3 AGS can crash a team of 6-8 BGS at Bandos GW. :twisted:

I would never waste my money on such a poor weapon as a godsword, but if I did own one, I'd prefer it to be the Saradomin version. Granted, I'd only bring it out to spec and just use a whip the rest of the time.

Armadyl: (One of) The best weapon in game considering its hits, speed, and most importantly special attack with a whopping 78 (MAX HIT(NO CWARS)) it is easily the best PvE, PvM, PvP, Minigames and many other categories, but is also being mistaken for its power by lower levels (poor people) possessing it and mistreating it :o.

 

 

 

Zamorak: Extremely fun sword, but also a hated sword (People who is in the barrage) Its very good in Minigames such as castle wars but its just a special that makes it entertaining other then that its a just another GS.

 

 

 

Saradomin: The All rounded super Saradomin Godsword its useful for pretty much everything especially versing Bosses, Slayer and owning to give a unsuspected hp + prayer boost to help in PvP also when out of pray pots.

 

 

 

Bandos: The PURE GOD SWORD, bandos godsword is just a NORMAL Godsword with a special attack similar to the seercul but involves all combat lowerings. Good for the all day player at not an expensive cost.

 

 

 

Well thats it read which one is yours. I have owned all 4 once before and to be really really honest even with over 100m I still prefer the Whip + Defender combo, if I had to choose a gs I'd use Armadyl :) For kicks :D

I have the BGS one thing no one has said is it makes killing Sardomin and Zammy durring clue scrolls super easy. The spec never fails(maybe once or twice) and hits high, makes the rest of the fight a quick 2 or 3 hit job. Most of the time they arnt even able to poison me.

ags is good for pvp, but thats about it. sgs is best for normal monster hunting and slayer.

 

zgs is near garbage, bgs is fairly useful...

First of all, mostly SGS is best PVM.

 

Secondly, all godsword are just godswords apart from their special. Why only mention it with zamorak?

They all have their uses and can in certain situations be better then the others.

I don't really have much to contribute, except that to the everyday average player, godswords aren't that significant. Only the PK'ers or hard-core boss hunters really care about them. The people who think they're worth the extra 10k str exp per hour for training, in my opinion, either have too much money or are fooling themselves.

i think the only reason people say ags is the best is as its spec hits higher (yes like hitting higher is everything)

 

 

 

i would pick the sgs or bgs as i think lowering stats in pvp or healing in a slayer assignment is alot better than some higher hit that i might not even hit to much

Zgs definitely drew the short straw; 60% of the bar for a 1-person barrage. Considering the amount of barrages you could buy with the price difference of bgs vs zgs, and that bgs actually has a decent spec, I don't know why anyone would want to buy one unless you use it at Sara gwd.

The zgs wasn't all that bad, I'd hit more with that than a bgs in most cases... I've used an sgs and I've found I hit more with those specs than the bgs and zgs. I don't really want an ags either. 2 specs with a chance to hit 5 more damage*? no thanks...

There is no chance, you always hit 25% higher. And the sgs's special doesn't make it hit higher, while the bandos has a 10% bonus, so you're wrong again.

I think he meant in his own personal experience he found he was hitting higher with SGS (i.e more accurate).

I never said I hit HIGHER... I hit more... y'know, doing damage? And you don't ALWAYS hit 25% higher. So I'm not wrong, you just didn't understand it. Sorry for having my own beliefs.

I have ags and sgs, sgs is more versatile but I prefer AGS in most situations because the extra healing isn't really a big deal. In most places, sgs isn't enough alone so i would always need a second method of healing.

I think Bandos is the best. The spec is useful all round, and its the cheapest. For me a BGS is worth ~20m, SGS is better but I dont think its an extra ~40m better. AGS is good but really you can use a DDs with pretty much the same results. AGS is probably better against bosses though, because the attack bonus rapes that of the DDs. ZGS just fals at everything but castle wars.
