sounds like the stock market crash to me

as my us history book says

On Thursday October 24, 1929 some nervous investors began selling stocks. As others noticed the increased activity, they joined in the selling, afraid to be left behind. A huge sell-off had begun. With the few people willing to buy the millions of stocks flooding the market stock prices plunged, triggering an even greater panic to sell.

They won't fall much farther. Remember they are more lethal than an AGS spec and at a tiny fraction of the cost. People will soon come to realise this and the panic will be quick to disapear. The reason they're crashing is because they have a market driven by merchants, not players who consider their effectivness and difficulty to obtain.

Personally, I think they will eventually return to at least 40m. Doesn't really make much sense otherwise, but we'll see.

Off topic, what's with the huge influx in d claw threads :?

They will fall for acouple more days then be bought out again.

They are already selling with less tables so thats just showing that they are slowly stopping. Of course they are going to be bought out and dumped alot from now on.

I don't think they are gonna go up too much again. I'd say their likely to crash for a couple more days then maybe boucne bk a little be then settle for a while.

Then over the coming month and years probably slowly deteriorate in value to something in the low mils

It's like the whip all over again.

It's like 40%, not exactly a tiny fraction =/

Tiny would be 10% or lower

When you consider how well d claws does vs AGS that's pretty small :-#

When will claws stabalise?

Don't know, give me a minute, I'll get my crystal ball out and let you know, oh and while I'm at it I'll also buy a winning lotto/lottery ticket.

So now you've got your crystal ball out, why not tell us?

too late, he's busy winning the lotto.

it'll go reasonably lower then bandos. thats my guess because claws are slightly easier to get and serves a little less purpose then having a godsword

That generally is the result when an item's considered JUNK after it's been dumped.

They'll rise before they hit 20M.

More and more are buying them everyday, now.

The hardest part is to tell when people are sick of them crashing and want to get some tables for their claws. Unless you're in some mega-merchanting cartel, it's pure guesswork.

Ugh, is this like the 4th thread of nervous players questioning d claw prices? It's starting to bug me.

Might as well have some input while I'm here. I don't own d claws, but I want a pair. But I'm not going to spend over 20m on it. So my mentality, along with other frugal scapers, is to wait for it to go down to a comfortable price (5m or less is reasonable, 2m or less is excellent) and then jump in and buy it at its cheapest. So if every buyer was like this, then it could mean that d claws go down so low that every merchant in the game will dump them, and suddenly the frugal buyers jump in and the price shoots right back up. Of course, any merchant with half a brain wouldn't sell it at its cheapest, so maybe they'll just fluctuate a bit until every buyer is satisfied.

For those who are comparing it to ags: while its spec is devastating, that's all its good for. At least for the ags you can continue to hit hard after the spec. But for d claws, you're screwed if you don't manage to kill your foe in those 2 specs. If they were quick clickers and turn on pro melee before your 1st or 2nd spec, they've pretty much survived unless they were really low after the 1st spec.

[hide=]

tip it would pay me $500.00 to keep my clothes ON :(
But then again, you fail to realize that 101% of the people in this universe hate you. Yes, humankind's hatred against you goes beyond mathematical possibilities.
That tears it. I'm starting an animal rebellion using my mind powers. Those PETA bastards will never see it coming until the porcupines are half way up their asses.

how can claws stabilize? theyre one of the best KO weapons, next to AGS, and once they fall to a price that price manipulating clans can afford bulks, then they will be the perfect merchant item. they will rise and fall, but not stabilize. not until more people get them as drops and more enter the economy

Can't we just let this thread die now?

D Claws will STABILIZE (spelling ppl...) when people start buying them again and when they're payable again. That will occur between 10 and 20 mill.

Oh, I'd say stabilise by the way. Even though he wrote it wrong either in British English or American English.

They won't stabilise, this item will most likely be merchanted alot.

I just finished cleaning this thread, and it seriously amazes me how you can have such a long discussion on the spelling of a word (especially when both words are right). So let's get back on topic or let the topic die peacefully.

AGS = Worthless besides spec, fairly hard to get

Claws = Worthless besides spec, harder to get then AGS

Sounds good, right? Now here's the problem:

Claws spec >>> AGS spec. Higher max, more accurate. Yet claws are harder to get. When it's all said and done, they should logically be higher then the AGS, which isn't showing any signs of falling. It remains to be seen how many people still believe in the myth that godsword > whip for PVP\Boss Monsters.

I'm sure half a dozen people who read this will start screaming at me about how godsword is better. Take it to one of the many H&A threads I've posted on, I'm not going to start this fight all over again.

Anyway, you can currently get claws + a godsword for non spec for less then the AGS, so we'll see. Claws should be at least 70m, though.

AGS worthless besides spec?

It's still a Godsword, with a high str bonus. It should be worth more than D Claws.

OT: The claws will stabilize on friday 13th. (and fix the title spelling, please. It's freaking me out!)

well i think it will be going down to ~22m then going back up to 30m. i bought mine for 38m with 32m cash and got 10 tables with them(tables are about 2-2.5m each) and i plan to sell at 28m for another 5 or so tables. then i need to figure out a way to make faster junk meaning i will need like 30m in junk. pm me if you have any ideas :?

It'll stabilize to around 3M when people finally realize that they suck without their special ability, and that they were better off with an AGS or dragon dagger to begin with.
