The following small fixes and adjustments have now been made to the game. If you spot any further bugs in-game, please use the Bug Report feature ('Submit a Bug Report' under the 'Help' drop-down menu of the website).

 

 

 

Graphical

 

 

 

  • [*:3to0zgn7]The santa suit no longer renders through capes on male characters.

    [*:3to0zgn7]A permanent solution to fix the ability to run in the Kennith's Concerns puzzle has now been implemented.

Minigames

 

 

 

  • [*:3to0zgn7]While performing the Agility task at Balthazar Beauregards Big Top Bonanza, you should no longer have a two handed weapon out if you were wielding one previously.
     
     
     
    [*:3to0zgn7]Climbing up a slope in the Skull Ball Agility Course has had its code adjusted.
     
     
     
    [*:3to0zgn7]The Blast Furnace code checks have been changed to prevent too much coal being added.
     
     
     
    [*:3to0zgn7]Players in Fist of Guthix can no longer attack familiars while holding the stone of power.
     
     
     
    [*:3to0zgn7]Bork now dies if a familiar gets the last hit in.
     
     
     
    [*:3to0zgn7]Earth elementals were not always counting for the Seers Village Achievement Diary task.
     
     
     
    [*:3to0zgn7]The Fist of Guthix reward gloves and the Stealing Creation harpoon were not correctly stacking their bonus xp at Piscatoris.

 

 

 

Miscellaneous

 

 

 

  • [*:3to0zgn7]The bug that caused familiars to get lost in certain circumstances (like the Phoenix Lair) has been fixed, so you should be able to call your familiar if it disappears. It was actually fixed a couple of weeks ago, but the note recording it got lost and never made it onto the patch notes!
     
     
     
    [*:3to0zgn7]For consistency, all bracers, vambs and v'braces, etc. have been changed to 'vambraces' so you can easily search for them on the Grand Exchange.
     
     
     
    [*:3to0zgn7]A couple of older interfaces have been updated to the newer format and functionality
     
     
     
    [*:3to0zgn7]The Runecrafting skill guide has been updated as some changes were left off recently.
     
     
     
    [*:3to0zgn7]The skill guide entry and wield requirements referring to the brine sabre have been corrected.
     
     
     
    [*:3to0zgn7]Code dealing with NPC chatheads has been updated in a couple of places to be more robust.
     
     
     
    [*:3to0zgn7]Players will experience less hassle when using the mine cart to travel with familiars.
     
     
     
    [*:3to0zgn7]The code behind hammers and how they work has been updated for efficiency and future ease.
     
     
     
    [*:3to0zgn7]Upon using the ectophial, you will now automatically attempt to walk to the Ectofuntus to refill it.
     
     
     
    [*:3to0zgn7]An issue with open zogre coffins has been fixed.
     
     
     
    [*:3to0zgn7]Explorer Jack is a little more responsive when you use items on him that he doesn't want.

    [*:3to0zgn7]A bug has been fixed involving combat with NPCs while using prayers and the divine spirit shield. You should no longer lose Prayer points when you negate melee or ranged damage with active protection Prayer effects rather than the shield.

awesome stuff. i like patches. i noticed the familiar despawn text color change right away, i logged on and got the new red message saying my familiar had 30 seconds left, lol.

Under "Miscellaneous", regarding the Safe Spot that was removed in PVP:

It was upstairs in the Carnilleans' house in Ardougne, behind a secret wall.

 

It was PREVIOUSLY a PVP hotspot, but is NOW a safespot where combat isn't permitted, so no-one's going to log in there to find themselves in unexpected danger. The problem was that it was a hotspot where players couldn't easily attack anyone due to the confined space, so it was a pretty lame hotspot, and rather open to abuse.

so... a safespot was added, not removed? they should have worded it "a hotspot was made into a safe spot for various reasons" cause their explanation and wording is confusing.

I'm curious. Since the patch notes are replacing hidden updates, can we replace the thread? Remove hidden updates as it is now and make it a patch notes thread?

There are still some hidden updates, odd as it sounds. Jagex isn't posting everything, apparently.

Yes :thumbsup: ! This is the only thing in this batch of notes that caught my interest. Its a terrible pain to forget refilling your ectophial -.- .

It was a hotspot like the ardy boat used to be, where you can't move. So basically, no one could attack you when you stood there, allowing you to build up hotzone time without a single bit of risk except for maybe randoms. So they changed it to a safezone. So now you can't build pvp time, but you CAN use it as an escape route.

 

 

 

The changes this update were definitely awesome. They're fixing a lot of stuff thats been needed.

Started free trade with 1.5m cash. 2 weeks later, have hit max cash 2x.

 

PvP drops: 359 Brawling Gloves, 11 Vesta's Longswords, 41+ Zaros/Ancient Statues

9 Dragon Full Helms, 3 Dragonfire Shields on the old PvP loot system

 

Brawler guide is being finished!

There is an audio cue when you finish a slayer task.
