Shinsengumi being a group of people during the Bakumatsu in Japan (start of 1800s, I think) who tried to prevent the overthrowing of the emperor at the time. It translates to "Swift Death to Evil." It's something that I personally identify with VERY much. I imagine that a lot of military and similar folks will agree with that sentiment. Here's to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round heads in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They're not fond of rules and they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify them, or vilify them. But the only thing you can't do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius.
