I really like the updates today, nothing to complain about, new icons are good, nice to see Herblore get an update, perhaps not fantastic, but better than nothing. Resting is great and the restore rate + time it takes for energy to run out is great!

What's wrong with getting the same slayer task twice in a row. It's not like it makes any difference in the long run.

 

 

 

Iron dragons, hell hounds, steel dragons to name but a few.

 

It may not make a difference, but it's damn annoying.

 

Iron dragons, steel dragons and hellhounds aren't annoying ;)

 

 

 

Hellhounds have no fun drops, clue scrolls don't count because 9.9/10 times you get junk.

 

Steel and Iron dragons can be fun, its just they are assigned in very small numbers which make them even more annoying when you have to go straight back there.

I'm half and half on the Slayer update, sometimes I got around 3 Turoth or Fire Giant tasks in a row and made a lot of cash from them, however I would also get Bronze/Iron/Steel Dragons and what not. So yeah, it's not bad.

 

 

 

The new magic icons are absolutely win & this energy regeneration is brilliant, too. A good update IMO. :thumbsup:

There are two sides to this though, as you can't have mages/abyssal task runs now..I've had a 7 task run consisting of only abyssals and mages.

 

 

 

While the odds are reduced, it's still possible. You could still have this: abyssal, mages, abyssal, mages, abyssal, mages, abyssal.

* While on PvP worlds, you will now be shown a percentage of your maximum possible drop potential and, also, a line it can't pass if you're not in a hot zone.

 

* Converted Barbarian Assault to use elemental and catalytic runes, similiar to the Fist of Guthix minigame.

 

* Improved the combat code for familiars, due to a timing issue.

 

* Moved a chicken slightly!

 

Great patch notes, great update, gonna make a lot of people train agility now. I'm guessing zilyana's room is a 16x16 now..

 

 

 

Magic icons look a lot better too

 

 

 

EDIT: Reason I put Barb Assault is because I'm sure someone out there still had a force teleport that allowed them to smuggle the runes, and elemenetal + catalytic runes are area based (know someone that smuggled them out of FoG but couldn't use them)

Started free trade with 1.5m cash. 2 weeks later, have hit max cash 2x.

 

PvP drops: 359 Brawling Gloves, 11 Vesta's Longswords, 41+ Zaros/Ancient Statues

9 Dragon Full Helms, 3 Dragonfire Shields on the old PvP loot system

 

Brawler guide is being finished!

You can't eat while running. I really hope this is a glitch, it will completely change the way the game works, in many ways.

Gj Jagex. I love the new magic icons and "Rest". :thumbsup:

 

 

 

The magic icons don't just look great but I can finally see which spell is which. I always used to mix up the Teleport spells.

You can't eat while running. I really hope this is a glitch, it will completely change the way the game works, in many ways.

 

I've read this on the RSOF:

 

when you are running and click on a bandage, you stop running. when you are running and click on a barricade, you stop running. when you are frozen you cannot climb ladders or stairs. i am sad

 

It seems that you can't do anything simultaneous to running anymore, not only eating/potting. That would probably be a bug.. right?

"Agility no longer gives a boost on free worlds, as it was giving members an unfair advantage against free users when PKing or resource gathering on free worlds. Members features were always supposed to be turned off on free worlds to avoid spoiling the game for the free players, and indeed most of them were (which is why you cant use members weapons on free worlds, for example), but for some reason we missed the Agility one. Of course, members are welcome to also play on free worlds if they want to, but they shouldnt expect to have an unfair advantage against free users when playing on a free users world."

Annoying huh? Lol, I can see why they've done it but they could at least have waited until I got P2P back... :P

 

Brilliant update other than that, loving the rests and the musicians. Especially love the musician on the air crafting route!

 

Also glad the eating thing's just a bug.
