The German hint sounds like a quest to me. Something in which our character does something that reaps dire consequences?

Everyone seems to be trying to tie the different twitter clues to one another. What if they are all different updates? Last week we got like 5+ updates that were small on thier own but together they made a half decent update.

Some sort of magic update OR spell check / font change

Small farming update?

 

Oh and the 'Reap what you sow' could refer to some sort of magic that hurts you but hits high, sort of like a reverse Vengeance. Thw whirlwind part of that tweet also sounds to me like some sort of magic spell.

The german twitter hint got released today:

Must be a high level farming update! Or at least, I hope so :grin:

I was thinking of Farming too. I'm guessing we'll be getting Fairy Tale Part III, because those quests start with that Master Farmer and his failed crops. Along with that, a graphical update to Zaranis with bloom and such, and graphical updates to spells aswell.

I'm still crossing my fingers for a gnome spellbook based on illusion magicks. Have you seen the gnome champion? He POOFS and then there's a bunch of them firing at you.

 

So I can illusion my BH targ to death?

 

Make 3 fake copies of yourself around your target.

All attack at the same time, but only 1 is really hitting. (The real one)

He has to attack the real one for the other ones to dissapear.

 

You could get a guy to loose loads of combat rounds by making him not know which one is the real you.

Also would be a good way to get out of combat to eat for a few turns.

 

Im 95% sure its updated look on magic spells, and it would be rather obvious if it was.

Jagex has said that no new spellbooks are planned.

 

The fairy spells may be added to the Lunar Spellbook. Remember the Lunar Staff is made from Dramen Staff and fairy alphabet were used to curse the ship in Lunar Diplomacy quest.

 

Illusion spells (gnomish/elven magic) could be added to Lunar book too, since there already is mind related magic, like stat spy. Illusion magic could use soul runes. The incantation Glouphrie uses to create illusion tortoises is:

 

"Em gal lauf rei! Emeto laufolly egramentos umesco lamiten gan!"

 

Translated partially (unknown words in parentheses):

 

"(Em) all eyes (rei)! (Emeto) stupid eyes (egramentos) soul (lamiten gan)!".

 

Umesco means soul.

Ugh...4 new spells ftw... -.- And they just seem to be buffed up wave spells.

They look rather like buffed up wave spells aswell. :P

If it makes you feel any better, the shots are large enough that you can yell "HADOKEN" every time you fire one off.

It could also be a Thanksgiving update, if Jagex does it again this year.

 

I'd almost forgotten about it from last year, since I don't think I've seen my Cornucopia since...last November and I rarely go into the emotes tab.

 

Also: Thanksgiving update? Christopher Columbus, who SAILED to America on a SHIP. So naturally you will need a giant furnace to smelt the steel to build your boats. That you will use to sail to Americascape, using the Sailing skill that will be released this week.

Jagex said a year ago around this time they wanted to pay more attention their broad player base by having events for more "commonly" recognized generic holidays. By that, it means holidays not related to religion which a large portion of their players participate in. Their majority of the US player base celebrates Thanksgiving, so they wanted to add it in.
