July 15, 200916 yr I see my friend get angel wings tat on her back and it looks horrible. the coloring is ridiculous and you can see the line art being bent all over the place. I feel sorry for her but apparently she thinks it looks great :\ If it means something to her and she loves it that's all that matters. It could actually be very special to her. Sometimes teenagers haven't really thought about their design and rush in to getting it because everyone else is doing it or because it's cool. I do know people who regret having their tattoos. No I'm not one of them. I love mine. The only people who tell you that you can't do something are those who have already given up on their own dreams so feel the need to discourage yours.
July 15, 200916 yr I thought about getting tatts on my wirsts that look like bleeding slashes. No :\ My gf has the apple logo tatt on her butt Is it compatible with your uhm...? Camera guy: still laughing Matt: You want the funny shit that happens here and there, you think it comes out of your [bleep]ing [wagon] pushes garbage can down, don't you? You think it's funny? It comes out of here! running towards Camera guy Camera guy: runs away still laughing Matt: You think the funny comes out of your mother[bleep]ing creativity? Comes out of Satan, mother[bleep]er! nn--ngh! pushes Camera guy down Camera guy: Hoooholy [bleep]! Matt: FUNNY ISN'T REAL! FUNNY ISN'T REAL!
July 15, 200916 yr Never be cheap about getting a tattoo and do your research on the artists, the tattoo parlor, etc. are key things in getting a tattoo. Never be afraid to ask them questions. i would never ask those questions at a tattoo parlour, most of them are rough with customers from what i've heard. >.>
July 15, 200916 yr I've thought about a tattoo for along time, and I really want one! Thinking about getting the Logo to my favorite Marilyn Manson album. (holy wood or antichrist superstar) Which do you guys like better? It's going on my lower wrist. Middle-ish maybe. Or maybe Eat Me, Drink Me logo? I'm not a huge fan of the album but the logo is alright... Maybe enlarge this on my back :P just the logo of coure, I don't want the name or anything. I wouldn't go with the eat me, drink me tattoo, because everyone would think it was the monster logo.
July 15, 200916 yr @ Deathdrow: That's true, mosnter energy drink logo does look similar, but I think the color & outer lines of the M would be too short - would be the difference. This is my first idea, this is how I would get it Probably. Although I wouln't want the top & bottom of the arrow to touch the circle. and Maybe a bit bigger.
July 15, 200916 yr What freaks me out is guys who get tattoos on their special place. I shall now be holding there all day thanks to you. -.- I'm turning 17 in September, and in the state I live in, it's illegal for a professional shop to give someone under 18 a tattoo, yet in a state 20 minutes from my house, the law is 16 with parent consent. I am getting a tattoo for my 17th birthday, the price is being split by my mother and my grandmother. I am going to get one to remember my dad of, it's going to go on my back left shoulder blade, when my mother passes on i'll get the same tattoo with the dates of her birth and death on the back right shoulder blade. It's my body, and I feel it's meaning full. Yeah, that's something worth getting tattooed on. I know people who have the date of birth of their children tattooed on. July 15, 200916 yr I've never understood the reason why people would get a tattoo in a place they can't see. It seriously makes no sense to me!
July 15, 200916 yr I've never understood the reason why people would get a tattoo in a place they can't see. It seriously makes no sense to me! Exactly! Everyone tells me to get one somewhere where no one can see it, but whats the use of getting one if you really can't show it off? That's why I'm getting them on my wrist.
July 15, 200916 yr Get this one. It's the only one that looks great out of all 3 pictures. It's more generic and low-key. SWAG Mayn U wanna be like me but U can't be me cuz U ain't got ma swagga on.
July 15, 200916 yr Never be cheap about getting a tattoo and do your research on the artists, the tattoo parlor, etc. are key things in getting a tattoo. Never be afraid to ask them questions. i would never ask those questions at a tattoo parlour, most of them are rough with customers from what i've heard. >.> If the artist is snobish or generally... rough.. go elsewhere. very easy system. If they want your business they will not treat you like crap. And there is generally one main reason to not get a visible tattoo: 1. Professionalism, if you want a white-collar job visible tattoos generally breaks the deal While there is strictly nothing wrong with them, if your job involves a lot of contact with clients, investors, etc. plenty of places still insist on "keeping up appearances" which means most body-mods are a no-go.
July 15, 200916 yr I've never understood the reason why people would get a tattoo in a place they can't see. It seriously makes no sense to me! Because sometimes tattoos are symbols to people. Having it on their body is special to them but sometimes they don't feel the need to show the world. Plus, what Rick said about the work place. Perfect sense  The only people who tell you that you can't do something are those who have already given up on their own dreams so feel the need to discourage yours.
July 15, 200916 yr I got a band tattoo on my wrist, looks freakin sexy. might get another band tattoo later OMG OMG SAILING IS COMING LOLOLOLOL!!!1111 b/c JAGEX GAMES STUDIO , ANAGRAM OF SAITO JUDGE X-GAMES TAKASHI SAITO= RED SOX P1TCHER... RED SOX = BOSTON, BOSTON = PORT CITY!!!! PORT CITY = SAILING
July 15, 200916 yr I've been thinking about getting my tongue pierced....but I may regret it while I'm old eating soup or drinking milk or something... OT: To the people earlier, that's nothing. Some people have the balls to get their eyes tatooed.
July 15, 200916 yr Only reason I don't have one is I've never seen an icon, image or anything else which is me, no-one else just me. There too many generic tattoos on people, I mean come on why mark yourself the same as 1000's of other people? July 15, 200916 yr I'm thinking of a family tree on my back... The names of my parents on the top, then me and my future wife, then our kid(s). It would be done in segments. Only reason I'm skeptical of getting one, is that when the police are looking for you they give a tattoo description, easy giveaway. If we had an ugly divorce I may need to laser the ex off though.
July 15, 200916 yr I find a lot of tattoos pretty stupid, especially if there's no meaning to it. My Uncle fought in the British army up until last year, while he was in the army he lost 11 friends so he has each name tattooed in order from the top of his right shoulder to just below he right elbow. A lot would say it looks very stupid, but I think it has an actual meaning to it unlike most others.
July 15, 200916 yr I know a guy who turned his wiener into an Amsterdammer for love of the city: [hide=Amsterdammer]http://www.herakaarsen.nl/artikelen/14/amsterdammer.jpg[/hide] And im thinking of getting a little music note on my wrist but im only 14 so that needs to wait [hide]Felix, je moeder.Je moeder felixJe vader, felix.Felix, je oma.Felix, je ongelofelijk gave pwnaze avatar B)Felix, je moeder.[/hide]
July 15, 200916 yr Because someday we'll be 83... ? I don't get this reasoning which a lot of people seem to share. You could just as well die tomorrow, or the day after that, so thinking that far into the future is pretty silly. That type of precaution will make you miss out on a lot of fun. I'll get one done on my forearm this fall, mostly so it'll have time to cool down over the winter. A few of my mates are amateur tattooers, and they can definitely direct me to a good parlour. I've already finished the motif in Illustrator.
July 15, 200916 yr my good friends, it's ok I guess, he's only 17 though so will be interesting when he grows.. A friend to all is a friend to none.

July 15, 200916 yr Personally I'm not getting a tattoo because in my opinion no matter what the tattoo is and where it is, they look really bad and are a sort of "Oh look I have a tattoo so I must be cool, right?" stamp for guys, and a sort of "Stamp of [bleep]tiness" for girls, depending on the area of the body the tattoo is. I have no intention of ruining my skin with a design which I'm going to get sick of after a couple weeks. I find any sort of tattoo to be repulsing. Piercings (unless on the earlobes) and any other forms of bodily mutilation are just an absolute turn-off. No, I'm not religious. I just think they're disgusting. Also, what the hell is it with people wanting to get some sort of Asian character such as "fire" or "strength" tattooed onto them? Most Westerners can't read the language, and the symbol itself isn't representative of anything at a glance. It makes you look like trash. You're not cool or "different". July 15, 200916 yr At least it's possible to remove tattoos now. Personally, I'd probably never get one because I've never seen a design that I've looked at and thought 'wow, that's awesome, I want one'. It just doesn't work for me. Piercings in, ah, 'unusual' places are worse. ~ W ~
