I've got a funny story that could fit into that catagory(nummer 7), I don't think it's appropriate to share though.

I have a running list that grows every year... here are some I can think of right now:

 

- Get a tattoo.

- Try wingsuit base jumping or skydiving.

- Travel the world and stay in the most remote and/or interesting places I can (e.g. ice hotels underneath the Northern Lights).

- Try some of the scarcer psychedelics such as DMT, LSD and (pure) MDMA.

- Help invent, design or create something that significantly benefits science and/or humanity.

- Have a number of full-blown out-of-body experiences.

- Write a book.

- Learn to play the harmonica well.

- Listen to my favourite albums through a full set of 'audiophile' equipment (best possible quality speakers, headphones, record players, etc).

- Have a threesome with two gorgeous women.

Thats a pretty sweet idea for a tattoo. I'd like to do some travelling after Uni and thought about getting a phrase tattoo'd in each of the languages in the countries I've visited around a design but I dunno, it's a work in progress I guess.

And I was thinking that to expand on the idea, i pretty much make my body a globe, and try to visit every ocean and sea, and go into it. Then get the name of the ocean/sea tattooed in the appropriate place. Then if the career I choose doesn't care so much about professionalism, expand on that with drawings. Something I want to do is have each tattoo done at the place of the memory, so that the meaning is even more embedded in the tattoo. That's one of the only two rules I'm going to decide on tattoos by, it has to be meaningful, and it needs to be somewhere that is discreet and where the skin won't sag so much with age, hence upper back for my ideas.

 

And I could've sworn that "From sea to sea to sea" was either from a quote of Sir John A. Macdonald (Canada's first Prime Minister), or Psalm 72:8 (The reason Canada is the Dominion of Canada): "He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth.". Apparently there is no real quote that is "From sea to sea to sea", however I'll still stick to it. I also found out that Canada's motto is "A Mari usque ad Mare", which means "From sea to sea". If I learn French fluently enough, I may also add to the tattoo and put in the French translation of "From sea to sea to sea".

 

And I plan on doing travelling just before university, and either studying in BC, or if I can't get into an engineering program in BC, backpacking/hitchhiking it back from there home, as two of my friends already plan on making a road trip out to Vancouver to go to university there.
