April 25, 200917 yr The Wrestler (B-) I'm probably going to be flamed for my low rating of The Wrestler :/ We should euthanize anyone who lacks the capability to contribute to society in any way. Please don't elect this man for president in 2012
April 27, 200917 yr Hostel (F+) F-bombs, torture, and the first 45 minutes being a porn flick-wannabe is not the way to make a great movie. The only reason why I didn't give it a lower rating because I had a sick fantasy of killing every character in Hostel during the first 15 minutes so it would be a lot shorter. We should euthanize anyone who lacks the capability to contribute to society in any way. Please don't elect this man for president in 2012
April 27, 200917 yr State of Play- I still don't fully understand it, but I have seen and sat through much worse. The Haunting in Connecticut- I was expecting a pretty dull movie but this one was anything but dull. I caught myself actually jump in my seat 2 or 3 times. The Uninvited- OK, I saw this one a while ago, but it was a good one. It throws curveball after curveball until an unexpected ending.
April 29, 200917 yr Fast & Furious - (This is the newest one) I thought this was pretty well done, Vin doesn't seem tough anymore for some reason though
April 29, 200917 yr Fast & Furious - (This is the newest one) I thought this was pretty well done, Vin doesn't seem tough anymore for some reason though  It was a good movie, although I think movies like The Pacifier kind of downgraded his tough guy status.
May 2, 200917 yr Futurama - Bender's Big Score "300" Iron Man Hancock The Fast and the Furious 4 X-Men Origins: Wolverine "A man's gotta do what a man's gotta do"[Currently playing: K1ll L1f3]
May 2, 200917 yr Last night at like 1AM Funny Games (2007) came on. Could have been alright if the last half hour made any logical sense at all. Get back here so I can rub your butt.
May 2, 200917 yr X-Men Origins: Wolverine - It was alright, definitely could have been better though.
May 3, 200917 yr Just watched Gomorra. Absolutely brilliant movie. Last.fm Signature Overlays
May 3, 200917 yr Saw Artificial Intelligence. we all thought it should've ended when he went down there in the sub. the whole alien thing was just a turn off. :: Guess the Movie Contest Champion: pfilc23 ::
May 3, 200917 yr Taken - few good "24"-like actions scenes , few odd scripting/directing problems(the hero pretends to be a french security officer yet he speaks english). In the end its was just another average action movie.
May 3, 200917 yr X-Men Origins: Wolverine- It could have been better, but it is still my favourite movie of the year, thus far. 12 Rounds- It, too, could have been better, but it wasn't bad overall...
May 3, 200917 yr Fanboys - Finally! After three years of waiting I have finally been able to see it. I remember first planning on seeing it in November of 2007, the first release date that was announced. Waited over a year for that and then it kind of dropped off the radar. Anyways I really liked it. Tons of Star Wars references, cameos and just general nerdiness. Plus: Kristen Bell in a Princess Leia slave outfit
May 4, 200917 yr True Lies. Had Schwarzenegger in so  Ranger Boot Count: 1 :lol:Zerkers: 4 Hatchets: 2 Warriors: 2
May 4, 200917 yr Haven't been watching much TV/DVD because of the horror that goes by the name of "moving out/in", but I have managed to finish Battlestar Galactica, series 4, and I feel it deserves a mention. Can't wait to order the DVD box. I'm still mulling over the finale, which somehow moved the series onto an even higher plane than it was on before. The final series was, if possible, a lot harsher, darker and even more unsettling than the previous three, but at the same time it contains some of the most incredibly beautiful, heart-wrenching and warming scenes, as well as a lovestory that I'm sure can hit even the cynical straight in the gut. All BSG's characters are ultimately flawed, but you always *get* these larger-than-life people. There's no good or bad side, you can appreciate all the points of view. I'm not sure if I feel that all the choices made were the right ones, or the ones I would have wanted to see, but I don't believe I've ever been so moved by a television series. I'll miss it. So say we all.
May 4, 200917 yr Fast & Furious - Really good, one of the best opening sequences in all the movies. Paul Walker has filled out a bit, but Vin was as hot as ever!! 17 Again - Was alright, not great but alright. May 4, 200917 yr Author X-Men Origins: Wolverine Pretty entertaining. Gambit was a bit disappointing, though. And I really can't stand Liev Schreiber's face. The ending was hilarious, with Xavier and the helicopter. :') Equinox Man, I loved this one. A few great monsters and great atmosphere. Some hilarious moments as well. The Fly Brr, this film gives me the creeps, it's pretty depressing. Great soundtrack. What I've seen in April (not much)... April Films 93. In a Lonely Place (Nicholas Ray, 1950) :: 10.0 94. May 4, 200917 yr X-Men Origins: Wolverine Pretty entertaining. Gambit was a bit disappointing, though. And I really can't stand Liev Schreiber's face. The ending was hilarious, with Xavier and the helicopter. :') Gambit was all wrong, really... That is about the only thing that bothered me. But the end was pretty good. I was wondering if he would make an appearance.

I was wondering if he would make an appearance. What was wrong with Gambit? They didn't really expand on the "charm" aspect but I thought he was ok. They [bleep]ed up Deadpool horribly though. Taking away his mouth is blasphemy to the character. Not doing the cancer and Weapon X reject backstory and instead making him Weapon XI made the character much less interesting, but understandable. Giving him non-technological based body-sliding, Cyclops' eyes and blades in his arms is also understandable, even if I don't like it. I realize the characters aren't the same ones as in the comics, but you can't take away the mouth from The Merc with a Mouth.

I don't think it's anything that they could really have fixed, he just didn't seem right... I dunno. Or maybe it WAS the "charm" thing? I kind of exaggerated when I said "all wrong".

The ultra acrobatics looked a bit odd too I guess, it works pretty well in comics but didn't translate well on screen.

The ultra acrobatics looked a bit odd too I guess, it works pretty well in comics but didn't translate well on screen. That's true, too, but that didn't really bother me any. It just doesn't work the same if it's a real guy doing it, though. Beverly Hills Chihuahua- Surprisingly, I didn't really dislike this one, even though I usually don't like talking animal movies. Unless, of course, it is cartoon.
May 5, 200917 yr Hot Fuzz. Forgot how funny it was haha. Loved it. ^Sir Jem 05-The Bunny Drinking Blog?^ Click it!
