My sister is graduating thi month out of film school, I shamefully don't know what position she has planned to be, but I know she has 12 gigs lined up all ready. Which will be rollin in the benjamins. Unfortunately, she makes me watch movies with her all the time. Some are lame ,but some I think are very good.

This movie was BEAUTIFUL. The scenery was amazing, apparently, no CGI was used at all. It's got an amazing plot, and cinematography.

Last Thursday, I spent the whole day watching Terminator 1,2,3 in prep for watching Terminator Salvation in the Theater. Personally didn't like it. I liked the regular movie plot, not the over arching theme that they contributed to. Oh well, I still enjoy T2 as my favorite one of them all.

A reflection is just a distorted reality held by glass and your mind.

Heh, you don't know the half of it... I'm majoring in film and some of the movies we sit through are really f***ed up.

Thanks for the heads up about The Fall, I'll be sure to check it out. :)

I just got done watching Magnolia. I was absolutely speechless and blown away after 3 hours. Amazing writing in that movie. Simply amazing.

Goodbye Lenin! and Forgetting Sarah Marshall

Both were good, 9/10 enjoyed them, recommended.

the day before yesterday I saw Reefer Madness: the Movie Musical, which is the musical version inspired by the original Reefer Madness (an anti marijuana movie made in the thirties). It's got some pretty great moments, somethings are less funny, but still. I gave it an eight out of ten, very entertaining.

Drag Me To Hell (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1127180/): Please throw out all preconcived notions of this movie and go see it. It is definatly THE BEST movie released this year thus far. It is a classic Sam Rami Horror/Comedy very much like The Evil Dead. It is quite scary at some parts, and extremely hilarious at others.

EXAMPLE: [hide=]At one point near the end of the movie they are trying to drag the demon out and kill it. During the seance it posseses a woman, goat, and man. While both the woman and goat were serious bits, when it possesses the man, he begins to fly around babbling what sounds like nonsense. Upon close listening you can tell he is in fact chanting "cheese pizza!"[/hide]

I found it to be quite a good film: 9/10

Sig

Just watched Valyrie.

Already knowing the outcome of their resistance attempt made it seem more like a tragedy than a thriller. Had more focus been placed on character development, this could have been an excellent film.

It sure is a moving story, though... I wouldn't mind seeing it with a different cast, script and direction.

Paul T. Anderson double feature from last night.

Watched Boogie Nights for the first time. Pretty good.

For sure, my friends didn't tell me the ending of it either, what a hilarious way to end it.

People are probably going to go after me for Giving Dynamite an A, but I really think this is an awkwardly funny movie.

I just watched half of Once Were Warriors. I'm so disappointed I didn't see the first half. I think I'll rent it out or something.

the acting was amazing and everything was very convincing/realistic.

WONGTONG IS THE BEST AND IS MORE SUPERIOR THAN ME

#1 Wongtong stalker.

Im looking for some No Limit soldiers!

Well, was watching The World Is Not Enough yesterday while playing Football Manager.

Hadn't seen it in a while, so it was quite refreshing. A good movie, i guess around 7-8/10. Tonight, after the Sweden - Denmark match, i think i'll watch Golden Eye - haven't watched it for 2 years or so.

I really do prefer Pierce Brosnan as Bond instead of Craig - altho he is quite ok.

Just watched Terminator: Salvation, not bad actually, I've never been a big fan of Terminator films but it was well worth watching.

I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry- I finally saw this one and it was pretty funny. I almost didn't catch Rob Schneider's inevitable appearance. 8/10

Back to School- Another funny one, although older than me. Rodney Dangerfield always makes me laugh, even though a lot of people didn't like him. 9/10

Today I got a half day (finals, 2 days left!)

So while training mage, I watched Hot Fuzz and Blazing Saddles. Great movies :twss:
