Just saw The Spirit. It was pretty strange, I'm thinking about reading the comic now.

Recently saw the new Star Trek, The Hangover, Inkheart, and (re-watched) Super Troopers. All of them were great except Inkheart.

 

 

 

Gattaca - Definitely one of my favorite movies of all time. Plot is stunning, ending is brilliant. I'm tempted to turn it on and watch it again.

Saw the first transformers movie...BRILLIANT!

 

 

 

(Yes, I was late on that bandwagon. Being a fan of the old Transformers I was hesistant of a 'remake', but it did it justice!)

I just watched Reservoir Dogs for the 120339423 time. Brilliant film, some of the best dialogue ever, though it's pretty bloody.

Watched Pan's Labyrinth yesterday. Suprised at how good it was, especially since ive only seen 2 other Del Toro movies (Hellboy 1 + 2) and they both sucked. Still don't want him to direct the Hobbit films though.

Just got back from Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, and despite bad reviews found it amazing. 9/10

Evil Dead - The goriest movie I have ever seen. That is not a bad thing. It has everything, action, horror, a little bit of comedy.

 

 

 

Evil Dead 2 - Picks up the instant ED1 left off. This was a little lighter on the gore, and heavier on the comedy. Still a great movie, with a twist ending that led to the third in the trilogy, Army of Darkness. Going to see that next.

Yesterday I went to Antwerp with my friend, to say good bye to him, because he's going to the Azores for 10 days. We saw Coraline which was pretty great, if you ask me. Normally those Burtonesque animations annoy the hell out of me, but this one had its heart on the right place. I really liked that this one goes a bit against the "live your dream" that gets advocated so much in animation movies. After Coraline we decided to watch another movie, we wanted Transformers 2 (I wanted to see it again!), but I thought it was too long so we saw Drag me to Hell which was pretty great. Lot's of laughs, and a lot of scares. Damn, those scares uh? You know they're coming, you sit back in your chair, relaxing, thinking you're smarter than the scare, and then suddendly it comes. BOOM, it gets you, and you're against the ceiling again with all your hair standing up. There's nothing you can do. I even gave a little scream. [hide=]I would've liked it better with a happy ending though, I'm really a forgiving guy, and seeing this happening to Alison and her boyfriend really hits me[/hide], but yea, nothing you can do uh?

I've seen Public Enemies twice now. Forgot to post :ohnoes: The movie was brilliant. I loved it even more the second time around, and I didn't think that was possible.

 

[hide=Spoilers]The end had me all teary-eyed! I didn't want him to die! It's so hard to view him as a "bad guy" because we see so much of his sensitive/personal side. Gosh especially his last words: "Bye bye black bird" ahhhhh!! :cry:[/hide]

Eastwood made that movie great. Otherwise, it would have been average or good. I just bought this one an hour ago.
