2012 - So bad, so, so bad.

I'm not even going to bother with a review.

 

But I will say if you're looking to kill 2.5 hours and have nothing of any sort to do, see this movie. However, if you're looking for anything beyond special effects and a script that was written by someone over the age of 13, then don't see this movie.

 

And if you've got a good sense of humor and a thing for b-movies, watch this movie. :thumbup:

This was nothing of a B movie. It was a mainstream, over-advertised piece of crap that tries to be sensational.

 

I probably would have found the movie funnier if everyone in my theater wasn't reacting so outwardly, I wasn't sitting next to a guy with down-syndrome who rubbed his hands together rapidly at any sort of action, and my Christian fundamentalist step-father wasn't constantly pointing out the allusions to the Bible throughout.

Black Sheep

 

It was so cheesy and weird. I enjoyed it though - especially the gory parts. :D

 

The movie did a good job at portraying the drug's effects on frequent smokers, and without anybody floating through windows. :thumbup:

 

I just think that the action-packed ending wasn't very fitting for a movie about weed. Overall, I agree that it was a good movie, so I'll give it a thumbs up as well. :thumbup:

Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain - The Fabulous Destiny of Amelie Poulain is probably my favourite romantic comedy ever.

State of Play

Which is now a personal favorite. Took seeing it twice to fully appreciate it.

This was nothing of a B movie. It was a mainstream, over-advertised piece of crap that tries to be sensational.

If you're only requirement for a b-movie is the movie's budget, then this wasn't a b-movie. Luckily there's more to it than that. It's too bad that you haven't noticed the overal hilarity that runs through this movie, which is pretty incorrect for a movie that's showing the end of the world.

I knew this just from seeing the trailer

 

I saw funny people. I don't wanna hype it up but I enjoyed it a lot. Wish I saw it in the theatres

 

Who else is psyched for Avatar? Can't wait for that one

I just watched The Edge of Love. It was alright. I really wanted to like it because I love Dylan Thomas, but he's not portrayed very favourably at all.

Sounds like 2012 is good, must definitely see it.

 

 

But I recently saw Manchurian Candidate; was pretty good.

It was surprisingly pretty funny. I heard it got a lot of bad reviews, but I thought it was alright.

Just watched Twilight 2, a.k.a. New moon. The movie was incredibly boring, my [wagon] was really sore and the funnest part about it was closing my eyes and listening to my iPod...

the last film I went to see was new moon.

 

I <3 the books, and I loved the Twilight film (not that you will see me post about twilight generally) but the ending of New moon sucked!

 

Seriously, I want the end of my film back! They just ignored like half of the book. :angry:

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince Ugh. One of the worst movies this year. It's rare that you see such a useless movie. I really have no idea why this film has been made, and why anybody would like this movie is beyond me as well. I have been bored for more than two hours. It's not funny, not exciting, not beautiful, not romantic: it's nothing. The fact that this is a fantasy film makes it only more sad, since there is no imagination or creativity at all.

Hot Fuzz.

You know those movies that are so bad that they are just good? Well, they made a good movie look like on of those movies, and it turned out great.

I saw The Notebook for the first time last week. Really good movie. Made me feel all sad when I thought of my grandma with alzheimer's and how it must make my mom and grandpa feel (she doesnt remember them). She also doesnt remember me :(

The Green Mile. I cried, literally. Such a good film.

I saw A Christmas Carol in theatres just a few days ago in 3D. Although not my favorite animated movie, the visual effects were stunning and went along with the classical story to make it worth watching.

The beginning of A Clockwork Orange.

Suddenly making up some English homework is exciting and entertaining.

Not a movie but just got done with That 70's Show season 4. Was very good. Ending was a bit sad though. First episode of season 5 makes up for it though.
