January 7, 200719 yr Crank on DVD last night.... awesome movie. Funny at times and the action is great. Highly recommended nobrainer. ;)
January 8, 200719 yr Author Underground - This is the first movie I saw by Emir Kusturica, and I am totally blown away. Comlete chaos, and it is totally unpredicatable. Brilliantly combines the absurd humor with heavy drama. If you can get it, go see it! 9/10 Signature by Maurice SendakWhen the stars make you drool just like a pasta fazool, that's amore!
January 8, 200719 yr Just got back from Apocalypto. It was actually very good... dunno what all the rants were about.
January 9, 200719 yr Author Love & Death was a pretty great spoof movie for the snobby movie goer, I bet some of them left the cinema pretty angry back in the day. :P And after that I just had to watch Det sjunde inseglet which was great as always. :) Signature by Maurice SendakWhen the stars make you drool just like a pasta fazool, that's amore!
January 14, 200719 yr I got that Underground movie, it sounded pretty good :D . I'll watch it if I get a chance tomorrow. The Day After Tomorrow - I found this movie pretty entertaining, in a comical way. Maybe I would have felt differently if I hadn't seen the South Park episode :D . I don't know, I just couldn't take any of it seriously. It wasn't really all that great of a movie either. One of the big things going for it was supposed to be the special effects, but they downright sucked at times. Still, the ice chasing them through the library, I can't stop laughing at that  .
January 14, 200719 yr Crank on DVD last night.... awesome movie. Funny at times and the action is great. Highly recommended nobrainer. ;)Saw it last night too. I agree with the recommended and the nob brainer, maybe not highly. But if you have the chance, you might as well try it. It makes...zero sence, which actually makes it more fun. It's exciting and hilarious and while I will entirely forget having seen it in a year, it was fun while it lasted (87 minutes).

January 14, 200719 yr I saw 28 Days Later for the first time tonight. Wow, have I been missing out or what.28 Weeks Later is out later this year Mercifull <3 Suzi "We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. January 14, 200719 yr The Appaloosa, with Marlon Brando. It was alright Brando wasn't at his best really but some parts where quite interesting. Basically it;s a mexican styled western (Brando puts on a mexican accent at one point to fool the other mexicans he however didn't do anything with his skin :-X ). This mexican rich bandit guy steals his horse which means a lot to Brando. Apparently the person who raised him gave him the horse and all that. So he goes to get it back. There's quite a good arm wrestleing scene in it where this bandit guy says he will give him back his horse if he beats him. But there a two scorpians on the table so when the person who loses' hand smashes the table it squishes the scorpian and it's poison kills the person, that was quite tense (thats not how the movie ends). With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. But you knew that there would always be the spring as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen. When the cold rains kept on and killed the spring, it was as though a young person had died for no reason. In those days though the spring always came finally but it was frightening that it had nearly failed.
January 14, 200719 yr Author Saw Traffic again and it was fantastic. Signature by Maurice SendakWhen the stars make you drool just like a pasta fazool, that's amore!
January 14, 200719 yr Just got back from Smokin' Aces... that was awesome! Great story, great action... man, it was just great!
January 14, 200719 yr Memento-Watched this for a second time and it was just as good as the first despite me already knowing the ending Garden State- Was on OK movie, kinda chick-flicky. It has a deeper meaning which made it better than most chick flicks though Reservoir Dogs-Great movie, the way it was put together and had an unexpected ending. Double Jeopardy-OK for a thriller, expected ending, it's like a lot of Tommy Lee Jones movies
January 16, 200719 yr Memento-Watched this for a second time and it was just as good as the first despite me already knowing the ending I need to watch it again, haven't seen it in forever. Didn't quite get around to watching Underground, because I got an urge to watch Mission Impossible III. Of course, I can't watch MI3 without watching the first two first :P . Mission: Impossible - Pretty decent, wasn't just straight forward action, there was a decent storyline to go along with it. Mission: Impossible II - Heh, this one had me dying laughing at parts. Even the crappiest action or drama movie usually don't draw laughs out of me for how stupid they are at points. Maybe it was because I was still remembering the ridiculousness of The Day After Tomorrow. Ever since that movie I laugh at all the stupid parts in movies rather than just sit there and think to myself how stupid it is. Anyways, this movie had a good amount of stupid parts. Mission: Impossible III - I mentioned this last time I watched this movie, but I feel it needs another mention: Philip Seymour Hoffman played an excellent bad guy in this movie. This one is probably my favourite of the three.
January 16, 200719 yr Author Skipping underground for MI uh? :P Mahler quite unusual biopic about composer/conducter Gustav Mahler. We're getting insight in his life trough several flashbacks and dreams he has on his way back to Vienna. Especially the dream scenes are fantastic. A little bit underrated, in my eyes. I bet that if Fellini's name was at the director part it would've scored atleast one point higher at IMDB. 8/10 Signature by Maurice SendakWhen the stars make you drool just like a pasta fazool, that's amore!
January 16, 200719 yr Matchstick Men - Very un-suspecting ending, and a good performance by Nicholas Cage, Sam Rockwell and Alison Lohman. Enjoyed it a lot. Anyway, i'm off too see Casino Royale tomorrow. RS Stats | BF2 Stats | ARSCV | LastFM
January 16, 200719 yr Slither - Awesome movie for people who like their horror movies gross and over the top. A must-see for fans of "Tremors". Final Destination 3 - not much more than a dead teenager movie by this point in the series. The first movie was scary as heck, and it's still fun to play "How many ways can this room kill you", but FD3 doesn't offer anything new beyond the opening roller coaster sequence. "I reject your reality, and substitute my own!"
January 17, 200719 yr The Dudesons movie insane OT: Luring is sooo easy to avoid. That's what those nice signposts are for.
January 18, 200719 yr Author Black Mama, White Mama - Pam Grier (Lee, The black mama) and Margeret Markov (Karen, The White Mama) are in prison, one is a woman who sells her body, the other is a revolutionist/terrorist. Typical WIP flick, five minutes from the start the woman are already in the shower showing their breasts, and of course the lesbian (why is the word Les bian censored?) guard is watching them trough a peeping hole. When they are brought over to another prison Karen's revolutionist/terrorist friends help them escape, but due to back-up forces they can't save Karen. But Karen and Lee, chained together, manage to escape and then action starts. Followed by Lee's 'owner' who's trying to kill her (She has 40.000 dollar from the guy to escape the Island and start a better life), the police who are trying to capture them and the revolutionists/terrorists who try to find Karen (who can financially support them), they get in some pretty bizarre situations and the bullets work it's way to a final shoot-out, with a dramatic twist. Is it bad? Yes. Is it stupid? Yes. Is it fun? YES! 3/10 Signature by Maurice SendakWhen the stars make you drool just like a pasta fazool, that's amore!
January 18, 200719 yr If this snow lets up, I'm gonna go see Employee of the Month. I hear it's hilarious
