January 20, 200719 yr Author Eden - Brr. this has got to be one of the most horrible movies I've ever saw. It represents everything I hate about modern 'art'(or w/e you want to call it)-cinema. While watching it it felt like all the spots I've ever had, popped open and some burning acid came out of them burning my face. I wanted to peel my face off, jump out of my seat and cut the screen into little pieces only to barf on it. It was horrible. -25/10 Signature by Maurice SendakWhen the stars make you drool just like a pasta fazool, that's amore!

I haven't watched any movies lately because I just got a Wii. Next on the list is Underground, I'll get to it eventually :P .
January 21, 200719 yr Conspiracy Theory with Mel Gibson and Julia Roberts. One of the worst films i have ever seen. Oh and i went to see Black Book at the cinema earlier. That was quite good, a dutch film i beleive with subtitles. Mainly about a jewish woman working for the resistance who infiltrates the SS headquaters and falls in love with one of the members. Cue plot twists and about three times of thinking the movie was over and you have it. I liked it. With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. But you knew that there would always be the spring as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen. When the cold rains kept on and killed the spring, it was as though a young person had died for no reason. In those days though the spring always came finally but it was frightening that it had nearly failed.

January 22, 200719 yr I saw The Hitcher on Friday. It was good. One of those movies that wasn't "scary", but just made you jump in a couple scenes. 122 Combat : 99 Hits : 99 Attack : 99 Strength97/99 Defence : 99 Fletching : 99 Woodcutting
January 22, 200719 yr Author Le temps qui reste Ozon on his best. Young cast, short and strong. Thumbs up. Zerkalo and maybe Tarkovksy on his best. The plot is less important, the movie mainly came to life on set (yea, yea, keep the jokes to yourself). By showing dreams, flashbacks, archive material and his father's poetry Tarkovksy is reflecting the thoughts of a dying man on his life. Tarkovsky messes with everything that has got to do with time; Terekhova plays Aleksei's wife and mother, Daniltsev plays the young Aleksei and his later son. It's complicating, but really well done. Other than the reflections on life, the movie has got other themes to offer: the history of Russia, and more important, man vs. nature (something you'll see in more of his movies). I guess I'll have to watch the movie a few times more because it has got so much to offer, but I kept to the base this time. And it worked out very well for me. :) A movie that everybody can see, and a movie that everybody should see. January 22, 200719 yr Cashback - they made a full film out of the award-winning short film. I like films that make me look at the world in a different way after I've seen them. This film did that for me, even though it "tries" too hard at times to be "arty". I do look forward to seeing more of Sean Ellis' work as he matures.
January 22, 200719 yr Just watched "Clerks" last night. Great comedy and I love how it's in black & white.
January 23, 200719 yr Akira followed by, Tank girl ^_^ Mercifull <3 Suzi "We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. January 23, 200719 yr Author Finally going to see Otto e Mezzo in cinema tonight! :D Signature by Maurice SendakWhen the stars make you drool just like a pasta fazool, that's amore!
January 23, 200719 yr Conspiracy Theory with Mel Gibson and Julia Roberts. One of the worst films i have ever seen. Really? That is one of my favs...in fact, I recently bought it on DVD. IMO, it might be Mel's best performance (notice I did NOT say best movie, so don't yell about Braveheart)...you could just feel how nervous and paranoid his character was. I love how it seemed he couldn't even concentrate on one thing for more than like 5 seconds.
January 24, 200719 yr Watched Pan's Labyrinth at school today. Awesome movie, kinda creepy at times though :: Guess the Movie Contest Champion: pfilc23 ::
January 24, 200719 yr Well, I watched Nacho Libre with some kids that I babysit ... and it was basically terrible with some good moments ... they liked it at least. =D I'm about to watch Aviator... heard it was good.
January 24, 200719 yr Eragon. Was pretty good, though, slightly clique with alot of the same corny dialog, and speeches as all the other hero defeat villain/ no age movies. ---Do not ask God for an easy life. Ask him for the strength to endure a difficult one.Pansy: a weak, effeminate, and often cowardly man. (Oxford English Dictionary)
January 24, 200719 yr Anyway, i'm off too see Casino Royale tomorrow. Forgot to post. Was a little boring at times, but overall the action scenes (such as the chase near the start of the movie) were great. It isn't something I could keep watching though. Last movie I just watched (on DVD) was Cheech and Chong: Up in Smoke Good for an old movie, has it's funny parts. RS Stats | BF2 Stats | ARSCV | LastFM
January 25, 200719 yr The Chronicles of Narnia. For some freakish reason I cannot stop watching it... its a pretty good movie though.
January 25, 200719 yr Ha ha foofoomagoo I beat you! I must've watched Narnia around 30-some times. :wall:
January 25, 200719 yr Why would you watch the Chronicals of Narnia that many times? I watched it once and laughed at it because it was 2am I don't think I could stomache it in another circumstance :uhh:
January 25, 200719 yr I watched the beginning of a movie called Screwed. It looked very funny. It had Dave Chappelle and Norm McDonald(I think thats his name). I want to see if I can get my hands on it to finish watching it. 122 Combat : 99 Hits : 99 Attack : 99 Strength97/99 Defence : 99 Fletching : 99 Woodcutting
January 25, 200719 yr Author 36 Quai des Orf̮̬̉̉vres Pretty decent police-thriller. Doesn't really do much wrong, doesn't really do much special either. The two ugliest noses of France do a good job though. I just saw they're remaking it already. Hehe. Signature by Maurice SendakWhen the stars make you drool just like a pasta fazool, that's amore!
January 26, 200719 yr The Pursuit of Happyness - A pretty good movie, much to my surprise. Not that I thought it would be bad, I just thought it would be pretty boring and uninteresting. I thought Will Smith was great, seemed like he really was good for the character. "Jericho" season 1 (up to date) - I say this with every post-apocalyptic themed movie, I like the scenario. It seems like I say this second part more often than I'd like, it could have been done better. It's good enough to continue watching, and has been getting better. I think one of the problems is it is a TV show on at 8:00 at night on network television, which means it is going to be pretty restricted with what it can show. I, Robot - Very happy with this movie, I loved it. A great SciFi movie, especially if you like robot uprising scenarios. Will Smith didn't do a "great" performance like he did in Pursuit of Happyness, but it was good. It's an action movie afterall. I liked seeing Bridget Moynahan in it also, because she is hot. Looking on the IMDb page I see Alan Tudyk played Sonny, that is interesting. Before I watched it I remember he played a character, but through the movie I completely forgot, until just now. Anyways, I would definitely recommend this movie. Underground - Woah. When I started this movie I didn't really know what to expect. All I noticed was it was three hours long. After the first scene I knew I was going to like it. It was crazy, odd, and enjoyable. Now I just need to find the soundtrack for it, which I thought was pretty awesome. EDIT: Another one, got into movie mode :D El Laberinto del Fauno - Pan's Labyrinth is a great movie. Everything was done pretty well, so the one thing that I thought was a little lame kind of stands out more than it should. When Ofelia takes a grape from the table, it seemed pretty stupid. If they were to convey the message that the food is irresistible a little more, it wouldn't have been as stupid. Instead it just seems, well stupid describes it best so I'll leave it at that.
