Too lazy to quote. But Excl is definitely the most original and best vid for this contest I've seen.

 

Indeed, but no excitement or comedy involved. So it deserves only 6/10 rate.

It has some comedy. MMG gets kicked in the balls.

 

 

 

I kinda thought Sosolid's vid was kinda cool. The only problem is that it's too long.

 

The no comedy was for Sosolids, i just mistook Sosolids for the name Excls. Thought was same person. Sosolids had OK story, but there was little excitement and that's what a serious story needs. And it was a serious story.

I showed my entry to my brother who said it was one of my better video's, but it has one of the worse ratings I got.

 

My brother doesnt even like runescape so im wondering whats up.

I enjoyed the "Sound of Skilling" video, as did I enjoy Den's video a lot. I personally wouldn't even rate Excl's video as...Good? I didn't see anything good about it. As said at the beginning of his video,, he's run out of ideas, literally. Never was a fan, anyway. ;)

 

 

 

Den's is awesome, on the other hand. And does have a very good chance, with the full backing of Tif too I'm sure. =D>

I actually think he still has plenty of ideas, the whole video was actually a good concept and the last 2 clips were awesome, however he doesn't make as many vids as before.

Sound of skilling is definitely a potential winner, but i think excl's entry may also be hard to beat.

 

I hope Jagex makes some sort of compilation of the best vidz.

 

 

 

Sound of skilling is a great concept, but its very repetitive. I think whoever made it could improve it dramatically and easily with more sounds.

 

 

 

If that player composed that himself, that kudos to him. Using boring sounds from runescape and a simple melody, with a great result imo.

Am I the only one who found Excl's video decent? And the concept definitely wasn't original, I've read plenty of books from a "famous" author who writes about a writersblock, same goes for movies about a film director. It was pretty funny though.

I've watched a lot of the entries, and many of them are about them planning what to do about the Machinima contest. Excl just did it decently.

I do feel he shoulda threw in a cooking and firemaking sound though, around the end when it only plays the fletching sound. But it's still amazing. He needs to make a sound of combat video. ;)

 

 

 

I hope they actually add that song into the in-game music list, now that'd be cool... Personally, that'd be a much better reward than going to Jagex.

Pretty good. Chat needs to look more realistic, and I don't know if it's just me, but if seemed kind of slow; but the voices are great. Can't wait to see the other one.

It gets a little packed with more than that going in in 2 mins, reuploading another version as we speak as some things weren't clear and a few voices will be redone tommorow morning the font I liked as arial it's smoother and clearer I do have the rs fon't but I don't like it lol, when people arent sleeping in the next room :P

I died to a cow, go to CT's with a lumby teletab and around 2-3 tuna, let dusty hit you, you lose 16hp a time + massively decreased stats, once you're below hp safe up to make sure they all go to 0, then when your low hp (below 16) tele out, to lower hp further you can use the explosive vials from digsite (as they can't KO you anymore for full hp) you'll be around 3 hp, pickpocket some men for around 1hp, then run to the chickens. :P

Login to one of my 10hp/1def accounts.

 

Falador Farm has a few highwaymen -> I let them hit my newb account to 1hp -> try get a chicken to ko. The past 3 or 4 times i've tried that was actually with a 2 defence account, and i've healed to the point where I have to run again.

 

Still gotta look through some of my old accounts to see if it's viable.

 

 

 

~Edit- Keep in mind i'm currently F2P on all accounts.

 

Also, it was meant to be a PSA, but i'm tempted to turn it into a Rickroll or a Surfin' Bird.

I cobbled together a song sucking up to Jagex, cut it down to two minutes, and made

to it...I'm not making any predictions but I'm hoping I can do well. (Weird Al, anybody? Hardware Store?)

You can't be hit by chickens, their max hit is 0. That is if I remember correctly.

I meant on the video, If i were to submit it I would rehost it and lock it obviously, and as for the 2 minutes thing not true, can be slightly over been very active at monitoring the RSOF topic, plus sosolid2k entry has been accepted onto the playlist and that one is 2 mins and 26, so they can't really bend rules for some but not for others.
