I've had a horrible internet connection for most of the day and only just got on now to see these updates. :wall: I have to say that they are all great updates despite all the bugs people have been finding. I'm still not sure where to put the new room yet but I think I can fit it in. I never got rid of any of my pets and now I can happily store them all in my house. The summoning obelisk is a great bonus too that I wasn't expecting.

 

 

 

The activity bar for GOP is a good update to stop freeloaders and 50/50 clans should still be able to get away with there games if they're careful. The graphic update is meh but all the butler and teletab fixes and updates are going to be extremely helpful. If teletabs don't crash too much I may train my magic through them now.

 

 

 

Oh and the one thing Jagex should have done with the familiar update is put "interact" as one of the left click options. It could make runecrafting with Graahks a lot less of a hassle on busy worlds.

One bug I noticed earlier this morning, fixed now, was that when you'd send logs to the sawmill with your butler, he wouldn't take the 5k. free planks pretty much.

 

Ya I noticed that too. I was having my butler unnote mahogany logs and send them to the sawmill and after like 200 logs I noticed, Wait. my butler's only charged me 200 coins instead of 300,000. I did put in a bug report though.

the new room sounds good and i like the idea of all my little pets crawling around.

 

The summoning obelisk is a nice bonus as well.

Earlier, I was in a friend's house and I clicked "Remove" while right-clicking on his skill hall stairs. Instead of saying "You can only do that in your house", it said "These stairs don't lead anywhere". The stairs lead downstairs and upstairs.

I had to nuke my house to make enough room to re-arange it. I am going to leave my throne room as is, and instead the north part of my house looked like it was bombed (I took out 5 rooms, 3 of which were second floor). I am now short a combat room, 2 quest halls, a skill hall (I had 3 of each for some reason) and a parlour. I rebuilt the parlour a square north to enclose the menagerie in the house. Now it just looks like im avoiding cursed living space. I am just glad both my studys, my chapple, port chambers, and throne room are intact. I have other planned uses for my money and wan't to keep to a 1m reno costs.

 

 

 

And you can have your servant follow you upstairs. Awsome for me because I had the bright idea of sticking a demon lecturn up there and i'll be dammed to move it (over chaple so its not like its at risk from below.

 

 

 

On the plus side, if I get rid of my formal garden and replace the new parlour with another one, I could build a 5 room dungeon.

Ya I had a wierd incident today when I was in normal house mode and I had my portal locked and someone somehow appeared in my house and he said he was teleporting to his house but somehow he ended up in mine. And he couldn't leave through the main portal either.

Kinda was pretty satisfied with the update. All of them seem to help a lot with the gaming experience and it's the lowest amount of whiners in the RSOF in a while. =D>

the only possible problem with it is if you have a maxed house.

 

i think the reason runescape is getting more buggy is simply because its more complicated, and many bugs only show up when interacting with other parts of runescape than when testing them

It's a great update imo, only one bad thing to say about it.

 

 

 

I really don't like how the Menagerie has no walls and sticks out like a sore thumb. I was going to have one of the two grassy floored designs but even they stick out badly, so i'm going with the volcanic theme. It's made my house un-symetrical now, so i'm goign to have to build another formal garden next to it.

 

 

 

To be honest, I don't mind how the garden habitat looks against the regular POH grass. I've noticed that the jungle theme makes it look like your pets pissed all over the grass and stained it, but the winter theme looks great for a Christmas theme during X-mas events. The volcanic design is pretty cool, but not my cup of tea for my house design.

 

 

 

I still wouldn't mind some type of fence hotspot, though.

 

i really don't like the colour theme for the jungle or garden habitats. Also i don't like were i placed it as my pets keep wandering out of my house area so now im going to have to replace the whole thing... :wall: i really wish i there was a fence hotspot.

Anyone knows how much exp/h was boosted to oak larders after butler talks less?

Why so buggy? why are they rushing such small updates...

 

 

 

Not bad, I got on for a whole 10 minutes to buy supplies, make pet house, feeder and obelisk, put pets in my house and logged off :)

Good update, it changed plans of my dream poh a bit, but menagerie is worth it.

It is very clearly explained in the kb if people bothered to read

 

 

 

"For instance, you could capture one monkey, then store it in your menagerie and capture a second monkey, and so on until you have ten monkies stored in your menagerie. Pets stored in the menagerie are not considered to be owned, but you are still subject to ownership limitations - i.e. you could have ten pets in your menagerie and up to a further twenty in your bank/inventory; also, you could fill your menagerie with monkeys, but only have one monkey in your bank/inventory or out at any one time.

 

 

 

As such, you would not be able to have ten monkeys in your menagerie, and one in your inventory, and be able to swap them around, as this would break these limitations. You would have to release the one in your inventory before taking out any from your menagerie. On the flip side, you could use your menagerie to store, say, one of each god bird, and only take out the one you need at that moment. "
