I was looking forward to seeing those dedicated people with a few hundred Abyssal Demon pets... :(

Me behave? Seriously? As a child I saw Tarzan almost naked, Cinderella arrived home from a party after midnight, Pinocchio told lies, Aladin was a thief, Batman drove over 200 miles an hour, Snow White lived in a house with seven men, Popeye smoked a pipe and had tattoos, Pac man ran around to digital music while eating pills that enhanced his performance, and Shaggy and Scooby were mystery solving hippies who always had the munchies. The fault is not mine! if you had this childhood and loved it put this in your signature!

SUMMONING VERSION #3!

:D they finally got it :D took them a while eh?

Until they address these things, summoning is just plain garbage and anybody who disagrees with me is just a Jagex appologist without a valid opinion of their own...

I'm probably the last person anyone will EVER call a jagex apologist -but your final statement here really annoys the hell out of me. Summoning is - without a doubt - the most useful skill in the game - you are either blinded by your misplaced hatred in jagex to see the usefulness or haven't gave it it's honest shot - I can name very few updates that have changed the way I played for the better - on my hand . Summoning is right next to what I call "the jagex make x macros". You got familiars like the beasts of burden who change how you train slayer , fight boss monsters and gather resources - you got familiars like the bunyip who allow more training - you got familiars like the warped terrorbird who before the agilty update - allowed unlimited running -

I have no clue what the hell you expected from summoning considering the game has skills like firemaking that are about as challenging as bashing your head up agaisnt a wall, because I dont see how comparing it to summoning - you can honestly say it's better - same goes for many skills such as say - slayer - it's an extension of combat that just forces you to change variety - so yeah, you can kill some cooler monsters with higher levels for good loot - you can use some awesome familiars for better effects higher up too.

The only thing that makes summoning tougher is - you cant buy charms and it's a money based skill too - that pisses lots of people off always - myself included because I like to spend money on xp - but i got 80, so anyone can. Now i've never used a familiar for fighting purposes - in a serious manner before - i found them rather cumbersome - but i've noticed my titans respond much better now and are actually useful - it's like having your own little newbie.

Thats my view - From your post I think you're a jaded player who thinks they are elite and trying to shove views down other peoples throat in the most hypocritcal way possible, the "I'm right so you're wrong I refuse to hear your views Bull" does NOT fly well with me so drop the hardass act for being anti-summoning - You cant hate it too much - since your level 93. but you know I can name tons of classic players and even *Gasp* RS2 Players who have commented the originality, amazingness and sheer coolness of summoning and most of them quit long ago and came back and that skill kept them fascinated long enough to get hooked again. so to say you dont have a mind because they dont share your viewpoint is shallow , closeminded and downright silly.

Tremblake, normally I am calm, cool, and collected when it comes to people who have opposing opinions, but they fact that I find you on every single thread, basically always trying to go against the grain of what everyone is saying, just for the simple fact of going against the grain, really pisses me off. You are quite honestly the only player I've come up against in the near 5 years I've played this game that I can really say is an actual noob.

And just so you're aware, just as easily as you labeled us Jagex apologists (which if anyone knows me, knows I am actually really pissed with what jagex has done the past 6 months) we could label you an jagex anarchist. It seems to me you always go against everything just for the sake of being a rebel, and it's very unattractive. Your arguments NEVER retain water. They NEVER hold solid fact. You are honestly and truly just a wanna-be godsend that thinks he's here to enlighten us that we're all wrong.

You guys are wrong.

I doubt trembake meant what he said as much as he wanted the attention that you gave him, as much as myself.

I HIGHLY doubt he even read/is going to read what you wrote, and if he does, he'll probably just have a good laugh. He just seeks attention and you're giving it to him on a golden plate with beautiful decorations. This kind of comments shouldn't even be quoted, not to mention referred to.

I rest my case.

You are quite honestly the only player I've come up against in the near 5 years I've played this game that I can really say is an actual noob.

You apparently haven't come up against me yet because I'm the biggest noob in the game -- ask anyone.

Anyone has trained construction and can say how much exp/h was boosted due to butler talking less?

Until they address these things, summoning is just plain garbage and anybody who disagrees with me is just a Jagex appologist without a valid opinion of their own...

emot-whoptc1.gif I'm going to go out on a limb and say: Obvious troll is obvious. I get the feeling he's not actually retired, otherwise I doubt he'd resubscribe just for the ability to test the new summoning interface.

I wouldn't call Das a Jagex apologist. You can name me as one of the classic players who loves Summoning.

Since I was out to sabotage my gaming experience, I decided to figure out what that paw button did myself since its not in the manual.

Glad I ruined it for myself of I couldn't of been able to figure out how to make it attack when it meets a set of game ruining conditions.

In case anyone was in doubt that Trembake was looking for reasons to whine and cry.

Got all my four dragons. Looking good Link.

I'm not sure, but I was able to get 256k exp in 27 minutes, while making oak doors. Even if it hasn't increased by much, that's still a crapload of exp/hour.

OT sorry but wouldn't oak larders be cheaper?

The ammount of xp per item is based on oak planks used, not a xp for the item built. So larders (8 planks ea) = 480xp, while doors (10 planks ea) = 600 xp. So the xp per oak plank used is 60, no matter what you make.

That being said, the oak doors allows you to use a normal bulter (holds 20 planks = 2 doors) rather than a larder which requires a demon butler (holds 24 planks = 3 larders). The normal bulter is 5k cheaper every 8 transactions so in theory, the normal bulter making oak doors actually saves you money, not in plank cost but in the cost to operate your bulter.

While the normal bulter may take a few more transactions for the same planks, it is nowhere near enough to make up for the extra 5k you spend on the demon butler doing larders.

Just a little handy informaton

dawnsigblue-3.png

Mahogany tables are better than oak larders/doors, imo. It's not much more expensive, and it gives really fast xp. Esp now with make-x on the worktable, it's truly the best option.

Seriously  ? It was like 260K/h before (Without SC Hammers, though ). That's epic!

Yeah, except for the fact that mahogany tables cost a crapload more than oak doors.

It doesn't allow you to take followers into building mode, unless you access building mode, leave the house, and then teleport into it. Then, you would be in building mode with the pet behind you, and it still grows while in building mode.

Think people could be banned for this?
