Hi,

We have not made any deliberate changes to Bandos, however, recent combat/summoning changes may have effected it.

We are currently monitoring it.

Shame that I just built a Large Fountain [requiring, count them, TWO marble blocks] yesterday, and now I'll have to take it down, to preserve my house's general shape. I'm sort of OCD about symmetry :S

I don't want to quit the game. I want them to perform as well as they did 2-3 years ago. And my first post was funny, even if you didn't find it that humorous. I'll stop complaining when they can do something well without having it be completely ruined by something else with it.

I didn't complain about last week's quest. I rather liked it. A touch unoriginal, but still very good.

Hey Jagex, thanks for this week's upgrayedd.gif

-edit- Wolf, love the update  , hate the bugs.

So apparently, and I could be wrong about this, but at Jagex, the proper method for prgramming is this:

The programmer enters his office.

He walks up to his desk and brings the keyboard to the edge.

He unzips his pants and pulls out his gentleman parts.

Then he starts smacking the keyboard with said gentleman bits.

Hits send.

The QA then throughly checks it while simultaneously downing shots of jaeger and tequila.

And on Tuesday we get a fabulous update.

You should talk with a bit more respect and criticize more politely.

I have it worse, I have to make a new fountain AND marble Wall.

Thats 10 marble blocks. :wall:

Does anyone know if the feeder for the summoning room has to be upgraded from the first to the best?

To everyone saying this update is a little bit bugged: IT'S NOT. It might even hold the record for most bugs in an update since the original construction skill update, not to mention they bother some normal everyday scapers and don't need you to be a brainsurgeon to reproduce. If jagex really has a QA team as they are saying, they sure as hell don't care much for their jobs. Construction and everything related to it has always been a hotspot for bugs(the legend of durial still going strong after many years), and they still came up with this cold turkey even though they are very aware of what this may lead to.

As for what concerns MA: LOL. A year spent on what? why not deal with more pressing issues(pvp, for example) before you start making a louzy new platform as an excuse for an ''epic'' minigame. Not only is it a cheap ripoff, but also unrewarding and boring.

I'm very funny, just not along your sense of humor. That, and I'm making fun of a sacred cow around here, that being Runescape. Most the people on here can't be objective enough about the game to honestly decide if what I said was funny or not.

Hi guys,

I thought that, due to the number of threads regarding the construction update issues, I should post to reassure you that we are aware (and are working on) the following:

? The Wintumber tree and pet rock are missing (these have been temporarily disabled as they were causing issues).

? The "invalid teleport" spam.

? The menagerie obelisk not recharging summoning points.

? Newly built menageries not appearing (the room is there, you just can't see it).

? Animation issues when using bones on altars.

Thank you for your patience! :)

Keep it clean, please.

Oh yeah, I saw that and posted on there telling them that buggy update are becoming all too commonplace and that it saddens me that it is happening.

I'll keep it clean Laura. I may say some harsh things, but I'll make sure to do it in a clean fashion. And I'm sure they'll call me a "troll," "complainer," and "whiner" because it's much easier than debating my point.

Well it's always going to be that way, weekly content released is hard to do, if the bugs aren't major i'm not bothered they usually are quite quick to fix them though.

Your point was, QA isn't doing their job well. Your post was, QA isn't doing their job at all.

My point is, how do you expect QA to test the product in the situation where hundreds of thousands of players access it simultaneously? Obviously the product was fine when they test it, as if they would miss the issue of the obelisek not recharging points, or test the menagerie without it appearing in the POH. Your point was invalid and rude.

EDIT: And yes, you're trolling during that post, by Tip.It's standard. You need a break from RuneScape.

QA team definitely needs their own developer blog, to know how they exactly work... :twss:

Um, something else to distract them? They seem like they have their hands full as it is. Last thing they need is something else stopping them from doing their job. I wouldn't mind a single blog detailing the specifics of their job however.

Does anyone else remember when Brazilian worlds came out and someone found a pic of the summoning interface that looks EXACTLY like the one we just got? I guess that new tab is going to be a signpost-type thing after all.

Pretty disappointed with this update to be honest, it seems like they are catering to level 30's again.

It was leaked a while ago as a signpost ;) just no idea when its coming or what it is :P

Not really. Pets go there. Save bank space. Everyone likes freed up bankspace. Levels aren't high, but so what?

Familiars are just a win for everyone. Now people might use them for combat.

MA. Well, they spent months on it. I imagine they'll do everything they can to get people to keep going back so that their work wasn't all for naught.
