I would be v. surprised if there was

 

They said there would be no more, but we all know what Jagex is like with their change of mind :P

 

I hope they do one, it just makes that one weekend of the year or whatever extra entertaining and fun because you see way more friends online to grind out skills and the game seems so more alive.

 

They also said there would be no more bonus xp last year, but what do you know, they gave us one at the end of October. This is Jagex we're talking about.

I remember SUOMI being a joke in the high level community back in 2009. etc etc etc etc etc

Semi on-topic post (I know, I know), but My Kingz is about 2 weeks from 200 Metres Slayer and is getting close to knocking off Crystalfarm for Rank 15. (Guess he'll get Divination as a 200M Slayer present)

M is commonly used as shorthand for metres (in the real world, you know, where we use metric because lolimperial), whereas in game it is used as shorthand for 'million'. It is not uncommon amongst the higher level community (read: those actively hunting max xp in (a) skill(s)) to refer to 200Million as 200Metres as a result of this.

on topic: was it even "efficient" for suomi to run to the donators for 15k? because i remember when he asked me for donations, he came to me at lunar. so it takes like 3-4 minutes (go back to previous place etc) so it's like 300k per hr which is quite less

Let's get back to the topic of how many centimeters players have grown. I'm sure there's plenty of discussion over the valididy of Geel's gains if he is indeed using Viagra.

That's a dandy present. Reminds me of when Zezima maxed Slayer and was met with Farming the next day*.

 

*Zezima achieved 99 Slayer on July 9, 2005 and Farming was released on July, 11, 2005

This is why many players saw him as a joke in the past. People didn't take him seriously. He was asking for donation money when flipping was a much faster and efficient way to make money. A number of people will also say that the time spent collecting the donations was too great of an xp loss for it to be efficient.

I'm pretty sure that Alkan could get the most centimeters now at the end of the weekly-update week if he uses all his charms (55m sum xp) + does some random GAINZZZZ

Congrats to Forsberg on 200M slay, taking the final slot of the slayer front page.

I think out of everyone in the top 15 geel has played the least. He made money through dicing, then did buyables for his xp. By doing buyables and hosting first, by the time he got to slow skills, some got big boosts. So basically he saved more time by doing things in the order he has than he probably has on his adventurers log.

 

In a way im impressed but also a little bitter towards his cause he kind of got really lucky with the way things turned out, not to mention really lucky that he could be a popular dice host. Just crazy how everything seemed to turn out in his favor

I thought the grinding was trying to log on // actually do things without lagging and being lobbied?

 

 

 

I'm gonna start buying herb supplies and stocking up slowly. It'll pay off in the long run I feel
