But more seriously, its good to see him take a break for some well deserved sleep or biking =P And then its even better to see him get right back into hardcore slaying.

Alright, thanks for clearing that up (thought it's an estimate, so a more correct answer from SUOMI would still be nice).

 

I was wondering about something else now: What are your plans for XP weekend, SUOMI? It seems like anything but making overloads would be a waste? I hope you are planning to make a ton of overloads during the weekend? It would be some uber quick and relatively cheap herblore xp (since I heard you've bought supplies some weeks ago).

Depends what tasks you do. Obviously I am not going to get enough charms for 200M summoning from slayer because I use all effigies on slayer and don't do waterfiend tasks.

Just for your information: when I was 78 slaying summoning was added. I have the opinion that in slayer you should not skip tasks. During 78-89 slayer I've gained the charms for 1-90 summoning. So if you stretch this playstyle out, you'll see that you easily get charms for 200M summoning xp from slayer.

Xensure's slayer model shows that with the best task list (which excludes waterfiends) when picking up blue/crimson/green charms you'd get a slayer:summoning ratio of 0.81 with effigies on rc or 0.55 with effigies on slayer.

People were asking me all the time why I got 200M Agility and Fishing but not 200M Cooking yet. I got tired of those questions and decided to get 200M Cooking finally.

 

Some people still ask me why I am training Slayer for example when I still got 200M Thieving, Firemaking, Hunter etc left. I don't know why it's so hard to understand that some people don't want to go for the fastest 200M skills first. I might have been stupid for doing so because Jagex is making slower skills faster all the time but I play this game for my enjoyment anyways so it doesn't matter that much.

I was 73 slayer when summoning came out and 73-99 slayer got me 16-96 summoning. I got bored every once in a while with certain tasks, but I'm sure I could've stretched it out to get 99 summoning from slayer. There are many different ways to look at the slayer-summoning relationship, and the different ways to make the ratio of slayer:summoning xp = 1, <1, or >1. The fact is that slayer can only be trained in a certain way (so to speak) therefore summoning xp gained from it is just a by product. Increasing that summoning xp could reduce slayer xp, which would be sub optimal if your intention was slayer xp in the first place. Now as this is what SUOMI and many top players aim for, the charms they get from slaying will not be enough to cover 200m summoning and they know this. Their primary aim is fast slayer xp, and furthermore they know that summoning can be trained in certain ways afterwards as a by product of other skills; for example: finishing of magic by bursting rock lobs, or finishing combat by cave crawling.

Overloads are good to do as you get them done on the cheap so to speak and you replenish your stocks.

 

I wish you wouldn't do summoning though. I don't know if you're a record fan (although you do indirectly set many records), but if you left summoning till you had it banked you'd surely take monthly record for summoning from drumgun as i'm pretty sure you'd be less than 30m summoning xp after finishing with cave crawlers. The daily and weekly records are questionable depending on how many blues and crimsons you have, but given how many greens you get from cave crawlers I don't think those records would fall, but the monthly record for sure. You could just wait until the next (the one after the one coming up now) BXPW to finish summoning when you have it banked.

 

I was also predicting that your order of completing skills would be: slayer, range, att, def, hp, rc, wc, hunter, thieving. That way you only have buyables left, which prolongs them for as long as possible. Not to mention the fact you could do probably do anywhere between 1-1.5B xp in a year, and probably set the monthly overall xp record if you had 200m summoning and prayer banked.

 

Thats just my idea, but im sure you have your own plan in mind

To be honest I couldn't care less about records, they don't mean anything anymore because of effigies, urns, Soul Wars etc. That's just my opinion though so if you feel differently that's fine. Thanks for the idea though. :)

 

And I don't think one Bonus Xp Weekend would be enough for using all the charms for 200M Summoning Xp unless I am going to be awake the whole weekend but I am not going to do that because I love sleeping too much =P

Oh, i looked him up, and i wouldent make much sence because he only got 244m total xp, and most of these 120m is combat xp so yeah..

Yeah... I just noticed I got 2,359,845 Mining Xp in a day record. I have no idea how I got it. It was done on May 28 2010 before effigies and urns. Never used horn either. I got about 70K mining exp/h max and I never mined for 30 hours straight. So obviously it's a glitched record. Oh well doesn't matter to me =P

 

Some people thought I used horn because I am ranked in B.A hiscores but I only got those points because I was getting Fighter torso for slayer before Bandos was released. Never played B.A since then.

No idea, probably somewhere around 65k-70k/h. Never paid much attention to exp rates.

Yah, weird thing is, his daily exp is also included in his week and month record; it does look legit. Here's 3 examples (scroll down and look bottom left for the ''xp gain records overall''):

The fact that his record has been standing for about 8 months without getting removed now is the main reason why my motivation to get records dropped to very low, lol. A few good Runestracker staff people left as they didn't get paid for their services/costed too much effort for that + some drama amongst the staff members too. They also tried to stop the namechange glitch from occuring but failed to succeed. There's really only 1 person left who is still slightly bothered to do something about it (Aaron), but he's not THAT bothered either lol. Anyway, as for Nan:

On first sight that's legit, but when you look at his exp gains on that day, the only way he could've gotten that is by having alot of effigies banked + using alot of sw zeal all on that 1 day. Lastly, when you look him up on hiscores you'll see that some of his skills that he gained major exp in aren't even 91+, which kind of cancels out the possibility of him having used effigies. Conclusion: a faker :P

 

The other reason(s) why records are kinda pointless now are: Jagex and their major xp bulk/boost updates the last few years which has made it all possible for anyone with mainly alot of rsgp and with a decent amount of time to get to 3b+ xp heights (they seemed to have calmed down now on making it all easier but imo the damage is already done), the biggest of those updates being effigies, followed (imo) by frost dragon bones. The 2nd reason would be the mad money that's being made by dicing, that + fdb's (xp wise) = why the prayer hiscores got wrecked for example. Let's play Runescape. :rolleyes:

 

Edit: Oh yeah and the dicing is still going on. Pretty weird why Jagex hasn't removed those dice bags yet isn't it? I'm unsure what use they serve for a clan, but surely removing them wouldn't hurt anyone except dicers lol :pray: . It's tough to be a legit player nowadays XD
