Ok, so regarding what happened in recent times...

Anyone interested in learning how to dungeoneer the Dg Family way? I can teach and recruit people to dg.

Also, try and find anyone that has been kicked to rejoin the cc. We need everyone back asap.

Started working towards 80 range... will probably try for 85-90, depending my schedule. Looking to get 1299 total levels before I level strength my last time. Also will probably have a celebration for that, watch this thread.

99 dungeoneering achieved, thanks to everyone that celebrated with me!

Sonic, was there another falling out within DG family? I haven't been around w61 daem since a few weeks ago when I got 92 DG. If you aren't at liberties to discuss here, you can catch me in-game.

And yes, I should take a DG lesson from you some time

Hello, I have been lurking on this thread for a while now and felt I would like to get involved, and made this account.

Firstly I would like to say how useful this site has been for me, particularly sonniku's guides on dungeoneering and runecrafting which I have found very useful.

Sonniku, I would like it if you would tutor me in the "dg family" way of dungeoneering if you could :L

Also, just got my talisman staff from gop after hours of minigaming. I decided to get the fire staff, screw usefulness, it looks the best.

PURE F2P FTW!

I am still working towards 99 cooking after taking a 2-3 month break, 20k lobs to cook in bank and around 34.6k lobs till 99. After that I'll probably head over to Falador and mine some iron to work on rebuilding the cash stack and working towards my overall Runescape goal since I joined, 99 mining.

It is of note skillers still had the altar teleports from GOP, and 50 runecrafting is not a very demanding prerequisite for any serious skiller, if you know what I mean.

I'd be interested to learn that for my newly-made skiller. Name is Skill Crysis.

Here's some rather wordy guides that I reposted from Dg Family forums:

F2P Dungeoneering Guide in W61

Skillers' Guide to Dungeoneering in W61

Oya you need to make an acc on the forums to view them.

Oh, and I heard a clan called Dg Alliance is up. Must be real nice eh, they steal members from our clan and constantly try to advertise in our cc! <_<

Quick question for all you fist of guthix players, do you prefer to start off as hunter or hunted?

Also, I'm currently playing fist of guthix to get enough earth rc gloves for 70rc. Would you say that the time saved runecrafting makes up for this? (I win most of my games gaining around 9-10 tokens).

I personally prefer to start off as the hunter-that way when I'm hunted, I can just die quickly without piling up charges as insurance against a challenging opponent.

As long as the rate of tokens is sufficient to buy 1 pair of gloves in the time it would take to run 1,000 essence to the earth altar (~45-50 minutes in my experience, assuming use of teleports), you either make up for it or break even.

Also, for next time you might get a faster response by making a thread in the H&A section.

Token gain rate is ridiculously fast given all the noobs that fog.

Yes it is worth fog'ing for gloves. Especially if you have gravite weapons + zealots.

Sonic, I know that you FOG a lot, so I figured I would pose the following question to you:

Is there and ideal number of charges that you should aim for as the hunted to ensure maximum token gain/hr? Or should you really just be aiming to win by the greatest margin of victory possible every game?

@Levine: Typically around 400-500 charges would suffice. But, you can tell if someone is pro or not (based on how they do hunted/hunter). In that case, aim for highest possible margin.

@Lordxtrm: Usually with only zealots the target dies. No need to flash. Though, if you're hunted, make sure you have twisted bird skull necklace.

You can kill most noobs in fog before they even get 200 charges dw.

Some don't even bother getting charges.

Does anyone know if Serialheated has made/ever made any further progress on smithing? The last tracking record was at the end of August 2011 when he was at 145M xp.

It'll bug me forever if I never find out if/when he actually finished it.

Hello my F2P friends. Today my membership will run out, and I just wanted to know that what is the cheapest way to go for 99 Craft (From 84).

And also, where is the best place to train Ranged to 99 (90 atm)?

Ty in advance :)

Cheapest, as in least GP? What do you consider a cost (time, gp, afkability...)

For ranged, most people will buy a ton of cheap arrows (Mithril are 28 gp each now, figure iron or steel will do), go into the SOS and kill spiders on the 3rd floor. Other options include Ice Giants in the dungeon south of Port Sarim (not afkable but decent training, and small prayer bonus), and Moss Giants.

Dungeoneering 2v1 with a low level player can be good as well.

99 dungeoneering achieved, thanks to everyone that celebrated with me!

Hey Auror, strange to see someone with a total level in the 2300s join the dark side

If you want to blow your cashpile on crafting, cutting sapphires or emeralds will do. That having been said, you're better off blowing it on prayer. For crafting, you should probably be making gold ammies for a profit at 32k xp/hr in Al-Kharid.

For ranged, you should be using addy or mith arrows at giant spiders on the 3rd floor of the stronghold with a gravite shortbow. Armor can be a combination of green d'hide and rune. You can either use a power ammy, or the amulet of zealots while offensive range flashing if you're very good at flashing. Just remember that the only way you can really restore your prayer is at an altar or by dying.
