obfuscator
i dont want cindy crosby to win. and no way is sweden winning gold in ice hockey again.Cindy? Lmao.. I couldn't watch the game, heard we did well. Suprised Slovakia beat Sweden, curious to see how they do against Canada. I think the States will probably beat Finland. Womens hockey final today too, US vs. Canada as usual. "It's not a rest for me, it's a rest for the weights." - Dom Mazzetti

Necromagus
As much as it sucks that we missed the gold on the 10.000 meters, I think it's amazing what the eventual winner from South Korea pulled off. For those of you who don't know, he failed to qualify for the short track events, so changed to regular speedskating, a discipline he had never competed in before this season. He probably participated in less than half a dozen competitive events in either the 5.000 or 10.000 meters, but still managed to grab silver on the former and gold on the latter. That's an unheard of achievement. Hawks
So angry at the Canadian women. But they got reprimanded for smoking/drinking on the ice, the drinking age in B.C is 19, there's a couple of 18 year olds on their team. The US men need to beat Finland or Sweden or whoever they're playing today. Ryan Miller is epic. =D> sig by Soa.....tip.it times.....art & mediadeviantart/flickr/last.fm/steam/twitter/tumblr/youtube

tortilliachp
Canada had a short stint at 3rd place today. The Norway / Canada curling final will be interesting for the overal standings. Hockey final will of course also really determine if the host can pull off a top 3 position overall :D Long distance ski-events start tomorrow. Who bothers watching people go cross country for 30km? or the men going 50km? makes no sense that these are olympic events ....

tortilliachp
women smoking cigar is surprising to you? also the 18 yr old is from quebec... where the drinking age is 18 I think it's more of the athletes smoking a cigar. it's like handball: if the biggest stars didn't smoke, they'd be so much better. aquariusman
There's a difference between a celebratory cigar and smoking. A huge one. One cigar is not going to hinder your overall ability in the slightest, or at least not to a noticeable degree. Stop acting like a cigar is such a big difference, especially after such a huge win. There's no such thing as regret. A regret means you are unhappy with the person you are now,and if you're unhappy with the person you are, you change yourself. Thatregret will no longer be a regret, because it will help to form the new, better you. So really, a regret isn't a regret. It's experience. fastortoise
btw the ranking is wrong Canada is #1 with Germany at #2Nah, they changed the ranking rules. It used to be whoever had the most golds won, now it's the total. Also, the most gold medals any country has won in all winter olympics is 13 (Canada ties the USA and Germany), so if the men hockey team gets gold tomorrow, Canada will have the most golds in one olympics EVER  (I honestly doubt that canada will win gold in the 50KM ski, and those are the only 2 last competitions left in these olympics) I am going to be so hammered at 3 o clock tomorrow it's gonna be CRAZY

Riku3220
[bleep] yeah Canada, hockey gold and most golds by host :DI suppose it wouldn't matter if I said America got the most medals total which means they placed in the top 3 in more events than Canada did?
