I can't access runescape at work, and I rely on this to see the updates.

Right next to the LP description is a pic of someone in bronze with what appears to be a slayer cape to me hitting a 40 with a bronze shortsword.

 

I suppose now every strength point will count rather than just getting it up by an entire 4 to do something now.

Hmm, maybe 0s will be alot less now? Instead of dodging you will take 5-10 damage? Are we going to be able to have a stable damage instead of hits based on luck? We can finally have a DPS formula? I am checking the defence page to see if anything was changed.

Just checked the magic guide in kb, all combat spells do 10x damage

So an Ice barrage is going to max at 300 without boosts? What the hell man, isn't the max hp 450?

It's 990hp the max hp, it's multiplied by 10

This may be great. But I bet slayer xp would be .1 xp/hp and .4 for combat skills. This will be interesting.

Everything gets multiplied by 10, so I would assume max hp (erm constitution) is 990.

The level and xp output are going to remain the same. It is just changing the overall amount of hit points you have and in-turn increasing damage and healing by x10.

I think the "180/450" example provided nexrt to the kb picture of the guy hitting a 40 with a bronze short is not the max. Max is likely 990. or even 1000 :o

 

Total level is likely staying the same, constitution seems to increase your life points by 10 instead of 1 per level.

It seems Jagex is working overtime at the moment if they still plan to launch today... and you would think they would take down the Scheduled downtime announcement that mention's "today's release" if they weren't going to launch.

The dragon long picture is specing at 105.

The whip is hitting 163

A player is bing hit 67 by an npc

darklight hits a 38

D2h hitting a 149

Ivan fails a 66

Player being hit 100 by a steel dragon

 

 

Looks like the HP system is just more precise now.

 

Also, I think 990 will be the max exp since everything on average was raise by 10. Sharks now heal 200, and soem other food 220....2 bits to almost fully heal? Doubt it.

Will this make strength bonus even more important? :P It shows a hit of 163 which would have been 16.3 before, rounding down to 16.
