If anyones interested i don't think consentrated ores work. 5 invens of gold ore and nothing but not only did i get both of my mining ones from addy ore i got them both from the same rock.

also i don't think you need to actually catch anything with box traps to get a rock just have it go off. i got one of them in my inventory from hunting but i was zoned out after an hr so i'm not sure if there was actually anyhting in that trap.

Did like 50k of xp in past 2 days on concentrated gold and got no rocks so safe to say they don't

Anyone try using the stones in your POH instead of putting it together in the museum the second time?

People posted a bit earlier saying it doesn't work ergo "nothing interesting happens"

How come these new updates always confuse me? So each week, you can get 30 rocks, 2 from each of the 15 skills. Then you take them all to the museum and build a statue, watch it explode, get a replica part from the curator, and start building it in your house? What's this about bonus exp? This is very confusing

When you add the rocks from whatever skill to the statue in the museum, you get some extra xp in whatever skill it was you were training when you got them.

Tbh I'm thinking it's nothing to do with anything except randomness... I'm just sticking with the normal way I train things. Sometimes they come quickly, sometimes they don't. I don't think Jagex would want people doing certain tasks over and over - grinding for the rocks. I think the idea is that you train your skills normally and the rocks are like... extra.

I don't know but reading through some of the earlier replies, it looks like people got the RC rock rather quickly by crafting one essence at a time (adding to the believe that it works with # crafts). I however, did not do that and it took me 59,400 xp to get my first rc rock and 28,350 xp to get my second D:

Guys, either way, don't count on any big rewards. There could be and there could also not נק.

I assume that assuming there's no big reward at the end, could lead to enjoying the little breaks between skills and the (pretty awesome) exp. And who knows? You might end up surprised that there is a great reward :).

Just don't count on any reward at the end, and then the end will either reach your expectations, or surprise you ^^.

That would make sence IF everything gave the rocks, but some activities dont give them at all. Thats my only issue with this update.

I dont get why some activities give the rock while others dont.

From the FAQ on RSOF it seems to be applied to things that could get you a rock.

Eg Nets and Cages CAN drag rocks up from the ocean, fishing rods etc can't

Floor level agility obstacles can turn up rocks, ones up in the air can't

Concentrated ore doesn't because its concentrated eg compacted so the statue wuld be distorted

With this logic in mind most of them make sense as to what will and won't give. A few are a bit wtf though.

How do they explain that some Agility courses yield rocks and not others? That's one thing I think should be changed/fixed. You're right, though, that most of them make some sense.

People have proved that some unlisted courses do yield rocks. And as I said its obstacles on the GROUND that do it.

List seems to be based on what is most likely to give them. Eg Barbarian course is mostly on top of buildings, so no rocks.

What other courses? If Ape Atoll works I will be happy about agility... maybe.

I've gotten both for the runcrafting, construction, crafting, cooking, fletching, agility, and woodcutting. =p

and if you want the agility rocks; what I did was go to brimhaven, and climbed low wall redundantly till I got it

Yeah, construction ones are the ones that make me freak. Along with farming ones, because you can only wait, and wait, and replant, and wait, and wait a bit longer... Oh, and see that diseased snapdragon turn into a dead plant because you were too late.

But really, the second batch of rocks seems much harder to get, batch 30 must be insane if this is really the case...

I sat in my house for 45 minutes with no stone. I give up >:(

the construction stones are probably the most annoying thing in this DnD

actually the constructiion stones were easy, stood by portal for 2-3 minutes first stone, exited and re-entered then stood by portal for another 2-3 minutes and got 2nd stone.

Also I got my 2 mining ones quick from the coal on miscellanea, I couldnt get my woodcutting from the maples, though i wasnt there too long.
