9276wizard
So does the second time you try to build the statue give more exp than the first time? And is it any harder to find the rocks the second time?
Hajutze
So does the second time you try to build the statue give more exp than the first time? And is it any harder to find the rocks the second time?It took me literally 2 coifs for my crafting stones (both of them :D) so I'd say the drop rate is the same. And the exp you receive is from a formula ... so I'd say it is the same =/
Saunamajuri
So, from what I`ve read, you need to buil the statue fully 30 times to obtain all of the replica statue pieces. This should mean that total of 900 pieces must be found in order to get them all. "An Amateur practices until he can get it right. A Professional practices until he can't get it wrong." Quests just keep bringing me back to this game.

Hmm, rc took me long the 2nd time, but almost everything is taking me longer the second time. My guess is that farm is the most discouraging, is taking me way too long, especially because you have to wait for the growing crops and you can't do anything better. Emmentail
You aren't meant to grind to get these stones every week. They're meant to come about from normal skilling. Set yourself an rc goal and think of the stones are bonuses.
Grimy_Bunyip
Try making runes one by one, not full inventories every time.i've done it both ways, about 2 hours with full RC loads and 2 hours 1 by 1, either way it seems a little ridiculous You aren't meant to grind to get these stones every week. They're meant to come about from normal skilling. Set yourself an rc goal and think of the stones are bonuses.I mean this is true, but on the other hand, there is some pressure to complete the statue every week. Which is impractical without grinding.
HunterDexter
Yeah, I'm only collecting these stones because they are meant to be collected, that they should be gotten by training normally isn't of any importance, because in no way I could be able to rebuild the total statue in our POH that way. yurpsie
I feel that I'm grinding only for the skills which I don't like (eg. crafting, and runecrafting) Farming does take a while, but if you actually do it in between skills (eg. using explorer's ring), you'll find that you'll eventually get the stones. Grimy_Bunyip
Btw when does the "new week" starts ? Monday, exactly 168 hours after you complete it ... any information ?1 week hasn't happened yet so nobody knows for sure, but from the images it looks like it will work like tears of guthixattempting to complete the statue a second time will give you a count of how many days until the next build I believe. I mean this is true, but on the other hand, there is some pressure to complete the statue every week. Which is impractical without grinding. I don't feel any pressure to do skills I wouldn't normally do just because of the stones and some of the extra exp =/ Distractions and diversions aren't meant to be goals, they happen as you play the game normallythe thing is with this minigame, if how you play the game normally doesn't coincide with how shattered hearts expects you to play, then it becomes a grindI used to make wines to train cooking, but that doesnt work with shattered heartsI used to make air bstaffs to train crafting, but that doesnt work with shattered heartsmining concentrated gold ores doesn't work from what I hearneither does superheating gold ores, once again, from what I have heardPersonally I train thieving by pickpocketing, but pyramid plunder is more popular amongst my friendsI prefer to fly fish, but the minigame forces me to net/cage i think that's about it. Many of the skills are perfectly viable as a distraction and diversionbut too many of the skills force players to break away from their preferred training methods, to grind solely for the sake of the minigame, for a reward that they are not informed of. shattered hearts is geared towards the average player. The training methods are those average players useMore efficient and higher level players will find themselves pressured to grind using average training methods they normally would not use. Playing the game normally, I would never get many of these stones. So we are back to grinding. This also leads me to believe this will not be some whiz-bang super fantastic reward, but rather something more midlevel in nature. Dire_Wolf
It's bull that you can play normally and get these stones. Play normally could just mean fishing all day for someone. Having the pressure to get these stones each week bugs me. Why? What if the reward is something relevant for a Warrior... And here i was planning to do many Clue scrolls. Sy_Accursed
A non-fighting mage who is part of a purely non-combat D&D...yeah a reward for a warrior is blatently whats coming. I wouldnt be surprised if the full reward is jsut the statue replica Operation Gold Sparkles :: Chompy Kills :: Full Profound :: Champions :: Barbarian Notes :: Champions Tackle Box :: MA RewardsDragonkin Journals :: Ports Stories :: Elder Chronicles :: Boss Slayer :: Penance King :: Kal'gerion Titles :: Gold Statue
Jabuli
Does anyone know if it is possible to get the crafting rocks by making holy symbols? I've made over 500 of them now and haven't got a single rock yet.
Emmentail
The Rs Website says Leather or Gold jewelry. So i think no on the silver front. Rs wiki says a better list of things. Like the fact the wildy course also gives you rocks.
odesa
Does anyone know if serums work for herblore? would be a cheaper alternative I made about 300 serums, nothing.
