Sy_Accursed
I perfectly get his point. He thinks it will be a rare achievement to have the completed statue as it takes ages to do and thus many won't bother with it. I never said anyone said NO-ONE will do it. I disagree I think the integration with normal training coupled with the lack of any level requirements to take parts means that the vast majority of players, especially new ones, will complete it after all we play for years, so 30 weeks worth of stones will come eventually at some point. I didn't even view it as an argument, if you think not many will bother with it thats your view. My view is however a lot of people will bother with it (most people I've spoken to are aiming to complete it) AND that for many lower levels and newer players it will come naturally as you play and therefore it won't be something no-one hardly completes. pulli23
Skimming over posts it seems replicas do need twins. Guess there was a bug early on and first few people got lucky. But equally I'd say I highly doubt they are going to give you replica parts out of order. I'd guess week 2 you'll get the twin to week 1. Then week 3 and week 4 will pair etc.But what if you can't play each week? Seems like a thing only the addictive players can go after First they came to fishingand I didn't speak out because I wasn't fishing Then they came to the yewsand I didn't speak out because I didn't cut yews Then they came for the oresand I didn't speak out because I didn't collect ores Then they came for meand there was no one left to speak out for me. Sy_Accursed
No it wouldn't. Odds are if you are not going after the statue u will stick to a single skill. Stones usually come fairly fast, so you may lose 1 bank spot for a day or 2, but youll get the 2nd put em in varrock boom done. No more stones for that skill til you do the statue. The only humanly possible way to eat up bankspace would to only do each skill til u got the first stone, then not touch it again which is highly unlikely to happen. hkscaper
I got this week's herblore rocks by making extreme magic potions. So other extreme potions should also give rocks. Tennis_Ace
It's funny to me that people think that the statue will be common 40 or so weeks from now. I know there are skills I don't touch for months on end (hello, Hunter and Mining), and that alone ruins the chance of updating my statue each week. What's to say that a large portion of players will switch skills every few weeks, let alone every week? I say the odds are very slim, and it's only the people who are specifically trying to get a statue that will be doing it. We might get a few influxes of statues in the 30-35 week mark, but very few more will trickle in after that because most who are trying to build it will already have. Now if the reward is good, we will see more people in the distant future going after it. Especially the fact that the incentives of getting rocks don't outweigh the incentives to train agility at better courses. Why should I demote my agility training from Adv. Barbarian to some lower course just so I can build a statue in my house?

Maxingmck
I heard that the RC stone is best gained by just RCing normally instead of the currently-popular "one-by-one" method, could anyone get info from a Jmod on whether or not this is correct? Well, if you consider that you have a chance to get a Strange rock once per "click" of whatever skill you're getting (one swing of your pickaxe, one log burnt, etc.) it does make sense that the 1-by-1 Runecrafting method is best. Crafting an entire inventory of ess/pess at once is only "one click" for the skill, while if you drop the entire inventory and craft them one at a time, that's 28 individual chances to get it.Jagex stated that the chance of getting a rock is calced by essence now not times crafted Noobs: We pay we sayJaGeX: How much will you pay? But no-ones even implied that.People have debated whether overall it'll be rare or common to have the statue completed. No-ones at all implied its gonna become uber common in around 30 weeks when people can of completed it. Neohero1972
Hi I'm sorry for going slightly off-topic with this question: As i have understood it then after re-building the statue once i get a replica stone. Question: Can i use this replica stone immediately in my POH or do i have to wait until i have all 30 pieces ? - i ask this, because reading through the Shattered Heart Guide didn't provide me with the answer. Replica pieces, as with the real statue, have to be added in twin pairs. From those who have now completed it twice it seems guaranteed that you get the rocks in order. So week 1 gives rock A1 and plinthweek 2 gives rock A2 (twin of A1)So assumption is week by week we will go on b1, b2, c1, c2 etc Operation Gold Sparkles :: Chompy Kills :: Full Profound :: Champions :: Barbarian Notes :: Champions Tackle Box :: MA RewardsDragonkin Journals :: Ports Stories :: Elder Chronicles :: Boss Slayer :: Penance King :: Kal'gerion Titles :: Gold Statue

YouBlow
Just Finished my statue and added to my House:http://img117.imageshack.us/img117/8795/03102010759.pngAs you see.. No RewardTalked to guys at Museum, nothing new/different...So no reward, Jagex just Rushed this update and haven't even made up their mind on the rewards.Right... So because you don't like the fact there isn't a reward for putting the replica together, you assume that jagex has rushed this update... Ever thought they intended it to be like this? It makes perfect sense to me that a *replica* doesn't give an exp reward. Don't expect the full statue to be anything big either. /edit: wouldn't expect something like that from a maxed player btw You Wouldn't expect me to point out the obvious?Jagex are milking people for 6 months of Membership with this update to find a "Final reward".Either the reward is gonna be so extreme it will blow our minds, Or there will be no "finaly reward"I'm expecting the 'No Reward' Can't give jagex too much credit, this update is aimed at their lvl 50s who are just starting training.Everything required to do on the list for a skill isn't above 80, And doing stuff at a higher level DOES NOT increase the chance to get a rock any better. So you might as well as stick to the Lower, Faster, CHEAPER things. I was expecting an Experience reward for building the statue in my house, like in the museum... Surely not a HUGE Reward, but... maybe I could have found a say... 20k Experience lamp or something, for the 2 weeks that I had to wait to Build it. Neohero1972
Hi - RANT WARNING !- I have just gotten two stones from my POH and i must say that i REALLY don't think the way these are obtained is right, because all i had to do was standing and waiting for them spawn ! I cannot understand why these stones are not obtained while doing some sort of construction activity - what was the devs. at Jagex thinking of and what is the consideration(s) behind this decision ? So i sat there looking at my screen (while doing absolutely nothing) waiting for the stones to appear  . - TIP - (i'm not sure whether or not this "tip" should go into the HELP & ADVICE section) After a while i got REALLY bored and decided to make some dinner, so i AFK'ed while checking every now and then to see if a stone had spawned - the first one i got after aprox. 10 min. and the last one took around 50 min. I'm aware that this way of doing it is not okay :shame: , but WTF should i have done instead ? - i really blame JAGEX for the bad design and until they change this so it has more relation to the construction skill i'll continue to AFK while i wait for these stones to spawn. - Obtaining the last stone from Agility - The first one i got after aprox. 20 minutes of training in the arena in Brimhaven - which is alright time wise, however, the last one seems to elude me - Ie. after more than two hours i still haven't got it, i know the last one i harder to get - but hey come on and hand me that f***ing piece of rock ! Anyway, i just thought you all should know - maybe you can use it for something, especially the "issue" with the construction Skill stones and the way they are obtained. GibberEsh
Yeah, waiting around your house for the construction rocks is really annoying. I'm not sure if this is a rumor or not but do you have to be by your house portal to get it?Also, doesn't look like making combination runes produces runecrafting rocks, made about 4.3k without a single one. Den
I agree with you on the construction rock, Neo. It shouldnt be obtained like it is now. I do think the rocks need alot of balancing because its possible to get both fishing stones within 4 monkfish. (I got 1, then 4 monkfish, then my 2nd rock)Yet, I have to hunt red chins, gray chins or do falconry for over 1 and a half hour before I get both, and thats just if im lucky. I really hope they fix some of this with the next update. ........::::: Rainy's YouTube Channel - Rainy's Twitter - Rainy's Facebook - Rainy's DeviantArt - Rainy's Tumblr - Rainy's Tip.It Profile :::::.........
