I'm sort of serious, I learned Japanese after I quit playing RS seriously three years ago.

 

Ironic that I haven't played Runescape in over a year (being stationed in Africa), and the day after I get members back and play the dungeon this reset happens mid-game and a roll back. The Dungeoneering "Skill" is still fun though.

Arch tyrant: so that's 6k xp an hour at max, that is just awful! I mean, it's okay for lvls up to lvl 50, but after that it will get insane. I'm not seeing how you will get xp faster at higher dung lvls, the FAQ only said "you will be more used to it, and know what to do for xp, but people alrady know this now).

I am assuming that prestige will play a huge role here. I think the reason this skill has 120 levels is because the total floor will be 60, with 50ish prestige I imagine the exp rate will be massive.

I've never watched one of your videos before, that was actually pretty good.

The skill guide only shows 35 floors, maybe there's another 25 or so to be explored when batch 2 is implemented.

Prestige: I doubled the values of my prestige from having 14-18 levels completed. if that's always the case, these values will be ginormous later on.

Dungeon levels: with higher dungeon levels, the experience increases rapidly.

 

Combine the two, and you may have fast xp, and you may not. Only time will tell, really, just look to the highscores: people are leveling fast so far.

lol, looks like Jagex employees are giving the servers a test go, I've refreshed the main page a couple times and have gotten "There are currently [6, 1, and 5] people playing!"

Since the game is down, anyone has any idea why Jagex couldn't have named the skill as RAIDING?

 

According to the FAQ, they named it as dungeoneering because they want the name to 'describe the essence of the skill'. By that definition, I assuming that we'll either:

 

1. Have only this location to train

2. Have more locations, but all dungeon-themed, instead od say, a 100-level skyscaper.

 

Great name it is, giving people even more oppotunities to make fun of it. "What's your dung skill?", "Wanna go dung island"? :rolleyes:

Everything is back up again; thuogh a warning, my binded spear wasn't with me when i logged in; so binded items may be gone! (i binded the spear from day 1)

Just fantastic, not only did they take down the servers for runescape, but because they took down the login servers I can't login to runescape, wol, or funorb. And I can't login to the forums to tell them about it either.

Geez, calm down, they took down the login servers to sync them back up to the runescape servers, everything will be back up in a few minutes.
