Someone wanna tell me what BS RSWiki is trying to pull?:

http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Primal_platebody

Probably just a close up of an NPC in full Primal, but still. Everywhere they use that picture, it says "A player with the Primal set equipped."

If you look at the page for the Primal Full Helm, /Primal_full_helm, the image has the caption: "A Forgotten Warrior with the Primal set equipped." - I reckon that's probably been the original but it's been transferred to other pages with the caption wrongly referring to it as a player. ;)

I personally adore this skill, finding it to be everything I have dreamed of: puzzles, new monsters and new aesthetics. Yet the one flaw for me is the teaming aspect, I agree entirely with it and see it as a shining step to a new 'Scape where people learn to collaborate before roasting others for their flaws. Yet, as I have said, it is a problem for me... having only three people on my list, none of them willing or able to duo with me. I have tried teaming with strangers several times, yet don't like it, either getting angry or dissappointed by early departures or an apparent lack of brain-cells.

I currently have a promethium rapier and gorgonite platebody bound, at level 53 (all solo'd) and was wondering what I should exchange these two items with if I find it as I can't wear primal. Would there be any preferred weapons out there, or better armour (I've never heard of anyone getting promethium plate yet, if you have please do tell) and to which floors/bosses should I be going to get these items?

Thank you in advance, and happy dungeoneering to all of you :-)

Oh, and this is my first ever post, been an avid reader and non-replier for far too long.

Promethium plate bodies can be made by players with 99 Smithing. It is a common bound item. Just find a friend with high Mining and Smithing who is willing to make it for you. Now that you can buy herb seeds, you don't need someone maxed out, over 88 will do.

I had one for a while and just switched to a t10 leather body. I find it helps a lot against all of the magic-using monsters and bosses in Daemonheim.

Spears are usually considered the best weapons in Dun, because they provide moderate to high bonuses in all three attack styles, plus they can be poisoned.

Well, thanks a lot for the tip, any idea which bosses drop spears? Or shall I just have to wait for a Forgotten Warrior to come along with one in hand?

Many people have promenthium plate, since you can mine/smith promenthium, but primal plates are quite rare.

And you need to wait for a warrior to pass by, no bosses drop spears as of now.

There isn't a boss that drops spears yet. High level hobgoblins and primal/prome warriors with spears can drop prome spears though.

Many thanks guys, I'll be sure to look out for hobgoblins and warriors with spears on my quest to get a bonecrusher to aid my slaying. Good luck to you all.

Also at least possible that primal warriors drop primal... though I haven't seen it yet. Seems a little odd that Jagex would call primal "Monster drop only" and not "Boss drop only", dosen't it?

Just a speculation, and don't flame me if I'm completely out of my mind, it's a sleepy saturday -.-

Would setting the complexity to 1 (all combat) increase the encounter rate of high level warriors and hobgoblins? Or do the dungeons just become very easy?

Primal warriors can't drop primal gear.

Quote from a Jmod or it's speculation.

There are primal items that haven't been released yet. The spear is one of them.

They confirmed only bosses drop tier 11

And since you asked for proof, go read this

Ah, well that dashed my dreams of ever getting a primal spear / platebody anytime soon... <_< Hope to hell the boss that drops spear isn't like level 90+ or something crazy like that.

Wonder why KB says can only be gained by monster drops... guess that's just the KB for ya'. Also have to wonder why they have primal plate and 2h listed in KB when as far as I know no bosses drop platebodies or 2hs.

KB tends to have a lot of errors. Their Dungeoneering Runecraft xp is still off, I believe.

I did a f28 large today and had a 5 man team of str pures. When we got to the boss it was rammernaut, level 450-something. It was a long fight and eventually we beat it and it dropped a primal maul. Everyone immediately started complaining about how they couldn't wield it because it required 99 attack (I didn't have 99 attack either, but had 99 str like most of them). That would make sense since it is a melee weapon, as all melee weapons require some attack level to wield on above-surface runescape. So the other four party members all spam end the dungeon, while I had a sudden realization: in daemonheim, mauls require a strength level and not an attack level to wield! I sneakily picked up the primal maul where somebody had dropped it and quickly destroyed my promethium spear (sorry good ol' spear, we've had some fun times together), and binded the primal maul not knowing if I had just made the biggest mistake of my dungeoneering career. So now were in f29, and I cross my fingers and click the equip button on the maul, and viola, I'm equipping a brand new, bad [wagon] primal maul. Of course, everyone else got pissed because I never told them about the strength requirement. They eventually voted to kick me, but I left before they could do so. I don't care about your stinkin f29 [bleep]es, I GOT MYSELF A PRIMAL MAUL NOW!!

Ahem. Sorry about that last statement. I'm just a bit excited about my new 175 strength bonus.

Well until they release a boss that drops primal spears I think I'll keep my primal maul thank you very much.

What I find dumb is that none of the other people tried EQUIPPING it. Seriously, no one attempted to equip the damn thing?
