January 7, 201214 yr Whenever I go into a different room to work, my sister has to tag along with her laptop. Go into my brother's room, she starts to watch anime and listen to music, go into my parent's room, she listens to music and types away on facebook, in our room it's the same. ☢ CAUTION ☢ CAUTION ☢ CAUTION ☢ CAUTION ☢
January 7, 201214 yr I'd love to add to it' date=' but I can only make Pixel Artwork, and it takes a long time to do. (I also lack a tablet for everything else :< ) [/quote']Well, pixels take a long, but you still couldpost WIP's in there. Or anything really, since there is none atm. And I don't have a tablet and I've tried nearly everything except digipainting. And I can do just fine with a mouse. And I [bleep]ing hate when I can't get quote tags to work. Edited January 7, 201214 yr by SaqPrets So I've noticed this thread's regulars all follow similar trends. RPG is constantly dealing with psycho exes.Muggi reminds us of the joys of polygamy.Saq is totally oblivious to how much chicks dig him.I strike out every other week.Kalphite wages a war against the friend zone.Randox pretty much stays rational.Etc, etc
January 7, 201214 yr Author People who think that they are cool because they drink a lot and get smashed. That pretty much sums up most of my classmates. Losing one's inhibitions and making irrational (harmful) decisions isn't exactly wise, and the benefits just don't pay off. I've never understood the drinking culture; Why is there a social stigma attached to drinking in moderation?

I've never understood the drinking culture; Why is there a social stigma attached to drinking in moderation?I don't know that there's a stigma attached to drinking in moderation. Perhaps it's the perception of being not included in that group that makes you think that they believe themselves to be "cool." Our choice to get lit up and make what you call "irrational decisions" is no better or worse than your decision to not drink or to only drink in moderation. I enjoy getting drunk and making acquaintances with people I don't know; I have the courage to talk to women that are way out of my league; I get to make ridiculous memories with my friends. It's a way to relieve stress and I see it as no different than any other activity, there's no need to pass judgement. I'm not conveying this to reflect upon you, but just to let you know sometimes judgement is legitimate. January 7, 201214 yr I seem to be somewhere in between you all: I see no problem with drinking for drinking's sake and getting drunk, but like anything if you do so too much it becomes boring, and I think many people do overdo it. January 7, 201214 yr When I come out of the shower, dry off, and then look in the mirror and my face is dry as heck. Is there any way I can prevent this? I mean, I've heard of using lotion, but is there some special kind of face lotion I should use (preferably non-scented, heh)? | My Tumblr |

Someone complains they're hungover, so that allows you to pass judgement? That's a load of bs. If a person tells you that you're a loser for not drinking, that makes that individual person a jerk, not all people who drink excessively. January 7, 201214 yr Author I pass judgement on the basis of objective reasons against drinking beyond moderation (which may account for excessive and or binge drinking). The position he upholds isn't mine, please don't confuse them. I think I'm watching too many anti-atheist, fundamentalist Christian videos and they're slightly annoying me now. I almost feel like posting a ton of comments, but I'm reminded that Youtube has perhaps one of the worst communities on the internet. Video in reference; Hmm EDIT - I've found a beautiful quote in the video that pretty much sums up fundamentalist Christian philosophy; "So you think that if nobody believed in any religion, that there'd be no wars or fighting? I think it would be worse, I think it would be way worse. I know that if I didn't have God's judgement to fear, I would've killed many, many times."

January 7, 201214 yr Sadly, there are people out there who believe that people who don't believe in God also don't believe in morals or common decency...Similarly, there are those that (loudly) believe the same of people that do believe in God. Normal people usually ignore both of them because they're a vocal minority, and tend to be dicks  I painted some stuff and put it on tumblr
January 7, 201214 yr Why don't you want your face scented?Well, depends on the scent? I definitely don't want my face to smell like flowers. That just isn't cool. :shades: | My Tumblr |
January 7, 201214 yr There are two solutions to your problem. You could moisturise your face so that it isn't so dry, or you could stop looking at your face in the mirror right after you get out of the shower . There are plenty of unscented moisturisers though. People who show up to work hungover. That said, my employer (not that I'm working right now) is actually really good about getting people who show up hungover (which is really rare since most of the people there are beyond partying, at least on week nights) to do all the work that no one else wants to do, and is totally unrelenting about getting them to do as much work as possible, so it does have some upsides.
January 8, 201214 yr The "I love you so I'm going to break up with you to prevent me from ever hurting you" mindset girls seem to have. Complete BS. By breaking up, you ARE hurting them. It's like having someone you love hanging on to you while dangling over a cliff, and just letting go. "I love you so I'm going to hurt you massively!" Unfinished netherrack symbol of Khorne. Never forget. ~creeper face w/single tear~ DO YOU HEAR THE VOICES TOO?!?!
January 8, 201214 yr When guys and girls treat the opposite sex as a completely different species. Also, how no one seems to realize that everyone has the same insecurities you do, just some are better at hiding them. My skin is finally getting softI'll scrub until the damn thing comes off
January 8, 201214 yr I see relying on a computer or video game console to be absolutely no different than relying on alcohol to have a good time. Obviously you missed the part where alcohol takes a huge SHIT all over the VITAL organs in your body. Getting too drunk causes death in some cases. Having an overdose of video games does NOT have the same effect.

I only said that they are ways to pass the time and are absolutely no different in that sense. They are both activities that occupy the free time in a person's life. I don't think anyone that drinks in excess needs an 8th grade health class lesson on the effects of drinking.
