I'm tempted to just tell people they're on their own when the tell me about a problem for the first time, and I ask whether it's a PC or a MAC and their answer is "I don't know, I think it's a Dell." I am absolutely amazed that so many people don't even know what operating system they're on.

Absolutely! I hate when they can't even tell me what web browser they are using... Just things like that irk me, but I almost prefer them because it can be a challenge to have no idea what is wrong except for "this won't do this to this when it used to do this" and I have to look.

Well, I wouldn't say it's entirely bad that TIF is slowing down. If you go back a lot of pages in OT and look at all the topics that got posted, a lot of them were just flat-out bad. Page 100 (from 2008) yields topics such as "Emos and your opinions on them.. :o," "Why do blacks get special treatment?" and "Do you sleep in your "birthday suit"?" As much as activity is dwindling, there's a lot less stupid shit.

I think that's because of the fact that most people who still use OT have been here for a few years. We've all had 4 years to grow up since then, and haven't gotten many new users, so the amount of stupidity has been on a steady decrease.

I spent today studying for exams, then went biking with my friend who wanted to try out his new longboard. I got to try it out and thought it was really fun, so I'm thinking of making one now.

I've never heard that before. Which is good because I'd probably murder whoever said it. Same with using "learn" in place of "teach".

The "New Brunswick - Canada" student loan system is also very bad. Thankfully I filled it right when I went online, it comes to a point where it's so vague that I was fitting in 3 of 4 categories but only was allowed to chose one. Lol. the rest of the online application is even worse. Not sure about the rest of Canada though.

Yep, they've given me a different answer to the same question every time I've phoned over the last few weeks (I'm trying to get them to add an extra year to my course details as I'll be doing an exchange year as an extra year), I finally seem to be getting somewhere though. Seems the first few people I spoke with didn't understand what I wanted so just made up an answer.

One thing that really irritates me is when you load up a website like youtube see the video you want to click as the page is loading click it but as you do the full page loads and you end up clicking something else then if you're as stupid as me you press back and do it all over again >:(

True that every fighter is different, but they all have the basic fundamentals of spacing, mix-ups, hitboxes/hurtboxes, and frame data. What I learn in Marvel vs. Capcom and Street Fighter could apply in other games like Soul Calibur and (believe it or not) Super Smash Bros.
