  • Thanks to you, I'm imagining a circle of hell that's a movie theater that plays nothing but child porn (And Setzer/Friedberg movies, this is hell after all), and it's impossible to see or hear anythin

  • How hard it is to find classy/ unobtrusive merchandise relating to shows in general (but especially anime).   All I want is a nice watch or keychain that will remind me of my favorite show when I look

People that are really computer illiterate and can tell you absolutely no information when you fix their computer.

I'm tempted to just tell people they're on their own when the tell me about a problem for the first time, and I ask whether it's a PC or a MAC and their answer is "I don't know, I think it's a Dell." I am absolutely amazed that so many people don't even know what operating system they're on.

Absolutely! I hate when they can't even tell me what web browser they are using... Just things like that irk me, but I almost prefer them because it can be a challenge to have no idea what is wrong except for "this won't do this to this when it used to do this" and I have to look.

I'm on the same boat. Usually I'll just tell them that I'll come fix their computer, and when I see that there's 15 toolbars, it really shows that they don't know what they're doing with the computer.

The lack of activity on Tipit Forums. *rage*

Yeah, I agree.

Wait, that post is from last summer. Has it really been this way for that long?

Oh God... Toolbars piss me off so much. Thankfully, I use Chrome.

Wait, that post is from last summer. Has it really been this way for that long?

It's been like this for a while. I remember the times when if you missed a day of TIF, you had pages and pages of posts to catch up on.

We need to clone ourselves to increase the number of posts, obviously.

The only difference between Hitler and the man next door who comes home and beats his kids every day is circumstance. The intent is the same-- to harm others.

[hide=Tifers say the darndest things]

I told her there was a secret method to doing it - and there is - but my once nimble and agile fingers were unable to perform because I was under the influence.

I would laugh, not hate. I'm a male. :(

Since when was Ireland an island...? :wall:

I actually have a hobby of licking public toilet seats.

[/hide]

Well, I wouldn't say it's entirely bad that TIF is slowing down. If you go back a lot of pages in OT and look at all the topics that got posted, a lot of them were just flat-out bad. Page 100 (from 2008) yields topics such as "Emos and your opinions on them.. :o," "Why do blacks get special treatment?" and "Do you sleep in your "birthday suit"?" As much as activity is dwindling, there's a lot less stupid shit.

True.

Although I'm honestly of the belief that a massive idiot or troll can really revitalize a community.

I mean, look at the responses to yesterday's questions about revenge on a store clerk.

Sometimes a troll/idiot can spur a community to activity out of sheer irritation.

We just need someone like that indian dude troll or paperclips here, and then people would respond more.

9/11 was an inside job!

So what I'm getting from this post is that an evil union of doctors and paramedics caused 9/11.

Think of it like Nazi Scientists. The whole reason they did 9/11 is because they had secret documents in the building that were discovered. They had to get rid of the evidence, so they made it look like it was Osama that did it.

Dunno why but all Indians like to state the obvious. When I'm washing the dishes they ask if I'm washing the dishes. Our window is open so they ask if the window is open. If someone is in the bathroom they ask if someone is in the bathroom. When you don't reply, they make a 'heh?' noise and you answer yeah and they go 'ohhhhhh' then the conversation is dropped.

So Osama was the mastermind behind World War II and the Nazis?

I hate when people go very, very off topic. Like the post above.

So I've noticed this thread's regulars all follow similar trends.

RPG is constantly dealing with psycho exes.

Muggi reminds us of the joys of polygamy.

Saq is totally oblivious to how much chicks dig him.

I strike out every other week.

Kalphite wages a war against the friend zone.

Randox pretty much stays rational.

Etc, etc

No. Osama was Abraham Lincoln's partner in crime in the case of World War II, but Abe was the mastermind.

God damn it! My own bloody uncle had to go through his military service in Siberia because of your good ol' Abe and Osama? You 'Muricans seriously need to get your shit together, raining too much of it on us now.

Now I'm confused, where does the Space Pope fit on the chain of command?
