The wood parts are stairs being used as a roof. They let in light like they're glass, which is nice.

  • Well I've sorted that one out.     Every time I put my architectural skills to use in Minecraft, I keep thinking how stained glass is not a thing yet. How is it not a thing?

  • Apologies for late reply but I am not very active on tipit and don't play runescape at all anymore.   I have had a few pretty big mod reviews! It kind of blew up and snowballed at some point, most con

I get that too.

One dangerous thing Gio, if you place a water block on a top corner of the ful map, the whole lot will flood and you'll be spamming the place with sponges. ;)

HOLY HELL.

I was just roaming around a new world finding a spot to build onto, when I stumbled upon this.

Biome settings map has it's tendencies to place floating sand, but this is just to...specific. :ohnoes:

Forgive me Notch for I have INVedit'd.

Behold, MY STATION!

3/6 of the carts aren't in effect because I havent built stations for them to go to. So far I've got a station to the underground mines (with elevator to push it back up), one to my wintumber area (lots of trees and snow) and one to the beachside. Also in the first one, that's a row of arrow dispensers rigged to a lever to all shoot at once when triggered. :shades:

EDIT: those [bleep]ing sheep, pigs and cows keep finding their damn way in!

Popoto.~<3

If there's any dirt in your station in the floor, that's where they're spawning. If you get rid of it, they should stop showing up. I learned that the hard way when my entire castle on my old save had a dirt floor, so every time I came home I had at least 20+ pigs inside

Even if it's a dumb story, telling it changes other people just the slightest little bit, just as living the story changes me. An infinitesimal change. And that infinitesimal change ripples outward-ever smaller but everlasting. I will get forgotten, but the stories will last. And so we all matter-maybe less than a lot, but always more than none.

My friend started a roleplay server where we could nerd out on. Got about five others in our guild up for it, and I'm pretty sure that's all he can handle without his internet dying or something. D:

So woo. Minecraft roleplaying is actually pretty interesting, since there's pretty much no limit to what you could be/do, and it's pretty lighthearted on top of that. We're gonna start in a couple of days, once everyone has like... origin stories, I guess I'd call them, heh.

Also, I should post a picture of my mineshaft/fortress/tower/tunnel-leading-to-ocean-resort/docks/underground-base-connector. It's pretty extensive, me and a couple friends built it over the course of a night. I think we used several thousand cobblestone, most of which we got from digging our the underground tunnels and mineshafts. We had way too much time on our hands, haha.

LOL @ Tim making a train station.

Looks nice dude, I like the doors that act like those...pole-pusher things in subway stations.

Yay Peaceful!

In other news, the main part of my sewer pipe thingywhasit has been built. I like it. It ended up sticking out the side of a mountain, so I just left it open and let the water run off the side, to meet with a waterfall, which goes into a little stream, which heads to the largest bit of water I know of.

I started it off on peaceful to get all the inside of the station right, setting up the elevator carts etc, besides that its all been on normal mode. (with inf' item box added in)

EDIT: theres no dirt floors, its built next to a mountain so they prob suicide drop their way in.

Popoto.~<3

Real men play on hard mode. (Except when they need to get huge amoutns of sand, then real men turn it to peaceful so they can just get the digging done with.)

And has anyone else notice that if a creeper is outside your door, and you open the door, hit it, and close the door before it can explode, the next time you hit it it'll instantly explode?

I lost a wall from my house twice due to this so far. (One time opening the door and hitting it, the other standing on my roof and smacking it from above.)

The only difference between Hitler and the man next door who comes home and beats his kids every day is circumstance. The intent is the same-- to harm others.

[hide=Tifers say the darndest things]

I told her there was a secret method to doing it - and there is - but my once nimble and agile fingers were unable to perform because I was under the influence.

I would laugh, not hate. I'm a male. :(

Since when was Ireland an island...? :wall:

I actually have a hobby of licking public toilet seats.

That's what you get for not being a real man and by killing them behind a door.

Finally built a portal to the Nether.

Can you not get Lava from the Nether? I tried putting some of the Nether lava into an iron bowl and it wouldn't work.

You need a bucket.

Get back here so I can rub your butt.

You need a bucket.

I think that's what he means since you can't make iron bowls.
