January 23, 201115 yr Alright, I'm in need of some help before Psycho_Robot realizes he's left me OP'd. I've made a note block tunnel, but when I put the pressure plates next to the blocks they don't play. What am I doing wrong? E: I widened the tunnel and added redstone, and the redstone wasn't working, so I put the blocks on alternating sides. Now they all play, but not necessarily in order or in time when I step on them. So I'll get a couple of notes, then an unintentional chord, then a couple more. Now I remember why I don't get involved with the redstone stuff.

January 23, 201115 yr You can't put them next to each other like that if you want to get them to work individually. You have to allow room for the wires to connect without connecting to the others. At least that's what I'd assume. I haven't done anything with note blocks yet. The only thing I did with the new objects was make a hallway trap with the dispensers. Also, I just lagged my way into a lava-fall and lost all of my stuff except for my iron sword. Granted the only things of value I had on me were a diamond pick and iron armor. Plus several stacks of arrows but I have a skeleton trap so that's only like 2 hours of leaving my game idling to get it back and I have something like 15 more stacks. January 23, 201115 yr Yeah, I added redstone wire and put them on alternate sides. The problem is the lag, it doesn't play them consistently. I made a chord progression, but it's still pretty annoying. It works, though.
