What procedures do you take to prep for a war?

 

Mine depends on the type of the war but for the most part generally goes something like this..

 

1. Listen to music and browse forums
   
2. Eat some lunch
   
3. Be sure to grab some water and maybe a snack to bring up to the battle station
   
4. Go to the bathroom if needed
   
5. When it's time to mass, music to like 50% volume and chat on TS
   
6. If I was lazy I'll get my ring now, s[bleep]y boots, recharge glories, and double check bank that I have enough arrows/binds/food
   
7. Dance with Ralph or Steve around rocks
   
8. Help get styles done if needed
   
9. Music to 25% or off
   
10. Hypercam ready
    
11. Check Quick prayers/sounds/autoretaliate
    
12. Check that I have arrows and a bow (forgot arrows once to a war and had a bow facepalm)
    

 

That's about it for me, and for the most part it always goes in that order, but like I said depends on the war/time of the war

It's usually in the evening so I watch a bit of TV, eat dinner and grab a shower. Log on at massing time, chill with clan mates and win the war. :shades:

Have a nap before the war then take a glass of water in the table, make sure to have everything, go bathroom and mass :mellow:

Gear up and then play left 4 dead until we roll out.

 

YEAHYEAHYEAH.

*1 - Usually when I was in Dragonwood I would chill on Teamspeak about an hour before mass time.

*2 - If no ones really talking I'd go eat some food, bring food to my room so I don't have to leave during the war.

*3 - Then when its time to mass I just turn my game face on.

Nothing special, just go to the bathroom and eat before.

I get myself laid, [bleep] in my pants and I'm ready to roll.

 

Nothing special actually, visiting the bathroom/having a glass of water.

On weekends and during summer:

 

1. Wakeup

2. get on computer

3. rush to the war

TS unit pride. I'm on TS like 6 hours a day on weekdays and 18 on weekends no biggy. So I'm on ts 5 hours before mass

 

1. Wake up

2. Get on TS

3. Check my sets, if I need more I'll buy if I think I'll suffice then w/e

4. Play some scape

5. Eat lunch(assuming it's a weekend)

6. Go pee

7. Keep playing scape

8. Mass 10 minutes before mass starts

9. Mass pm people

10. Get off irc

11. Sounds on, Auto off

12. Quick Prayers set

13. Chaos altar to make sure I'm not on curses even though I'm always on regulars.

14. Take a leak while we wait for lates

15. War time.

Wake up

Turn alarm off

Get out of bed

Go for a pee

walk back to my room

Sit in my chair

Get on teamspeak(if computer is online)

jump to warring channel

log in runescape

Get geared up

Check prayers(Swap if needed)

Check Magics(Swap if needed)

Scream on teamspeak

- I gear up and once I´m done I help the other people to get ready (giving capes, reminding them the fight´s rules, spam like crazy on IRC, etc).

- While I do that I´m on Ts or Vent talking and chilling with my friends o just listening to music.

- Before leaving bh I double check my inventory, my quick prayers and I make sure my sounds are on. Finally I walk to the chaos altar to change my courses.

- After all that I´m ready to fight!

If long fight : Uncapped

- Wake up

- Shower

- Brush teeth and eat

- get on eariler

- Play League of legends

- mass account

- Play league of legends

 

- Mass begins-

 

- Mute mic

- Move microwave upstairs

- Grab some snacks and atleast 5 bottles of water

- Pee cup [unneccessary since I have a washroom beside my room]

- Use the washroom

- Unmute mic

- Turn on music so only I can hear it

- Begin

um... Just get home within 5 minutes of war start time. I am always the last one for some reason.

Well..

 

Eat with family.

Organise something with girlfreind around war times.

Water

Sore throat sweets

Viagra to stay excited

Game face on

I'll normally turn Leadface on, also I listen some nice pump up music so I can shout on vent. Nothing specially.

Things I do right before the start of the war: (Usually on weekends since on weekdays im usually busy)

 

1. 1 Hour before start of the war, I get on Ventrilo and go to the Music Lounge or AFK Room.

2. Grab something to eat really quick.

3. Listen to techno until 15 minutes before war start

4. Give everyone a talk and go over the rules again to make sure that no one is breaking any of them.

5. Start doing style check and making sure we have a good amount of each style.

6. Use the bathroom

7. Play Pump up Music

8. Say my line "Pump Pump Pump It Up! Teeeheee!"

9. Finally I am in Beast Mode

Skill until 5 minutes before the war then run and gear up just in time for the war. Either that, or meet them at the warzone.

1) Quick snack and listen to some random music.

2) Get on TeamSpeak and AFK in my channel whilst I mass highlight the IRC.

3) Get on RuneScape and gear up.

4) Edit the TeamSpeak channel so it has the right rules, snipers etc. for everyone to see.

5) Remind people of the rules and to have the right equipment.

6) Abuse Ichiro in any way possible.

7) Tell Warria he can't sing.

8) Check Prayers and get everyone together.

9) A small prep talk, balance out the styles we have.

10) Make sure nobody's on Curses and hop to the warworld.

11) Set our spams and get people motivated for the war.

play basketball, get on last 5minutes lol

red bull, teamspeak and smoke the dutch during mass!

I don't really make a check list.

 

I just ensure that I have all my gear ready. eg. If it's CWA if I have fog items. Or if I'm blasting that I have death runes. :thumbup:

Mine usually involves raging on teamspeak about how nobody has the proper gear on or the right styles or they have dg when its off or vice versa. My war prep is fun as hell

Check account, make sure I have all sets/food needed.

Gear up, go to mass location and log.

Check other accounts eg. scout, ensure they're placed.

Do any RL stuff (food, bathroom, whatever)

Organize IRC, TS3, RS
